I have just received a brand new limited production of Taffeta Isis Wings! This heavier, opaque fabric creates a stunning shimmering effect with movement. Taffeta Wings are as luxurious as wearing a beautiful gown! They can look like a cape when draped down your back.

Taffeta fabric is a crisp, smooth lustrous fabric with a slight sheen made of various fibers, such as silk, rayon, or nylon, supposed to have originated in Persia. The name, derived from Persian, means "twisted woven." Taffeta is in the same class and demand as satin made of silk. It is considered to be a "high end" fabric, suitable for use in ball gowns, wedding dresses, and in interiors for curtains or wallcovering. Taffeta was also used to make medieval Noble Ladies dresses.

Nomads - Middle Eastern Indian Fusion Bellydance and Music

Danyavaad plays live original Middle Eastern flavored music featuring the electric sitar and tribal drum beats. They create an atmosphere of Middle Eastern lounge mixed with Indian vibes and rock.

The Shimmy Sisters embellish aspects of creativity and art in their inspiring bellydance performances. Their diverse show may include snakes, swords, candles, fire fingers, isis wings, glow hula hoops, and traditional bellydance props such as veils and zils.

DJ Sandbag will keep the night going strong with electronic world dance music, indian beats, bhangra, south asian breaks and arabesque.

Guest dancers, guest musicians, it's different every time!

AnJa & Akashan will be guest dancing with steel, engaging in some SwordPlay.

Costa Rica trip & photos

Traveled to Liberia for 4 days, and then to Montezuma for 5 days.
Highlights include ziplining through the forest, rappeling upside down into the canyon,
tubing down the river, horseback riding, volcanic mud spa and hot springs. Boating to
Tortuga Island and snorkeling in the crystal clear water, jumping into a waterfall with
chilly clear water, driving a quad around all day to the beach at Mal Pais and on the dirt
roads to the neighboring small towns, and chillin' in the hammock and enjoying the sun.

Time goes so slowly there, so if you ever need a vacation to get away and relax, go to
Costa Rica, it's only a 5 hour flight from LAX.
