Went last night and watched friends in dance practice... I miss being able to dance! I tried to help out with a combo... wasnt able to do the damn steps. I couldnt do a DAMN GRAPEVINE! each step was an excruciating walk through desire... *cry* I want to be able to dance so badly. BUT... I did get a fun zill lesson =) now THAT I can do! (yes still a bit loud for my ears... but I'm warming up to it)

ok. My MRI came back as a super sprain with super bone bruising. I have been wearing my OLD OLD OLD Croc style shoes, because they are the only ones that allow me to wear my brace. And I like to wear it when I walk outside of the house. These shoes are almost completely worn through on the bottom, and are creating horrible pressure points on the inside of my arches, back towards the heel (especially on my right, where I'm injured). now... I know that I can go to my dr and ask him what I should do, but until I have that appt (need to call tomorrow to make one) what can I do? I'm in PAIN! and I cant just not leave the house? I dont wear flip flops. I dont wear sandals... I'm a tennis shoe or boots type girl. no heels nothin. Its too hot for my boots... *sigh* any ideas? I've tried folding down my shoe... perhaps making the brace "longer" at the bottom? so the bulk of it is up a bit higher? blah... but... I AM feeling BETTER! YAY

So... Stepped off the deck yesterday to measure if the sheets I got would fit round my tent thingie for the Pirate Event this weekend. (Seadogs). I apparently wasnt paying enough attention and into a hole/divot I went and there went my ankle. I've never rolled an ankle so bad that I had to put the damn thing back into Joint. I sat outside, where I fell and hollered for my son to get me my phone. In his 3 year old mind he did a super job, and honestly he did. My dad had just left to take my daughter on the jet ski, so I called him and he was back in a matter of min. Hubby was about 15 min away, so he was there too. They had to basically carry me to the car. thank goodness for wheelchairs at the hosp. My mom met us there. This whole time I was thinking my ankle was broken... apparently it's a bad sprain. but HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! it hurts so bad. Hubby had to help me to the bathroom all evening and this morning. He stopped and got me some crutches, so I can move about on my own. BUT... the percosets are making me throw up... That's the only thing I can think it is. I'll take em at night if I have to... I cant stand to vomit. and I'll only take a half. so... I'm glad I can sew with my left foot... LOL and I'm glad that Joe got me some crutches, AND new ice packs. I need a shower.

I don't have time, cant handle the stress right now (not because of sewing, because of personal stuff) I can get other stuff done much faster if I get that gone. I can focus on my family and animals and my own design wills if I get that gone. It sucks for me, but right now... I cant do it... I'm happy that I can realize that about myself and not overwork myself into the ground and try to give myself a nervous breakdown! On a brighter note... Kids are gone till friday (tentatively) with Papa (grandpa) YAY stress free sewing and Stress free riding my horses who need some extra TLC! =)

For real... this is my Mama! =) I sewed everything on her, except for her socks and shoes! There is a lace edged cami, an "underbust" corset vest, a hip wrap, and ANGELOONS with stripes and RUFFLES! =) You cant see it, but I shared one of my black ostrich feathers with her =) I'm waiting for other pictures from her! I cant wait to see everyone else in thier stuff... (I did three other sets of pants and hip wraps). PERFECT for the saloon huh? (she works in a "saloon") that's what they call it.

Lightning, Thunder... no power... POURING RAIN and wind from the East... wind from the east is NOT a good thing here. Our wind comes from the north south or west, and usually generally starts in the west, because the ocean is there... It was INSANE! Soooo beautiful! The kids had a great time... Thor was slaying the Giants for three hours! then it was over... now its muggy yet a bit cooler... I'm ready for sleep.

It is getting to be summer time. Meaning that my 9 year old will be out of school. I have two kids(one three one nine), and will have to entertain these two kids so that they don't murder each other. Custom orders will have a turn around of up to 6 weeks. Please be aware of this. if you have a deadline before that, there will be a $15 rush order fee. Please make sure to give yourself enough time to receive your stuff. Many times items will be out sooner than the 6 weeks, but I cant be tied to my sewing machines all summer long. All items on etsy will go as they are right now. Skirts are going to start to be pre-made, meaning that I will have some colors in stock, and other colors will be considered custom orders. I have other items to work on to be sold as ready made as well. I literally have boxes of things cut out and waiting to be sewn. If we have previously spoken about a custom order, and we have made arrangements, please ignore this! Thanks.

allergic to Sunscreen?

Apparently I'm allergic to the heavy duty sunscreen I was using. Used some "no ad" brand the other day, and the rash didnt get worse, and in fact its getting better now. It kinda itches a bit now that its healing up... but alas... at least its healing up. There isnt much need for me to be outside in the sun today, so I'm holding off on the screen... yesterday either. I went and got some zinc spray stuff. We'll see how that works out... Off to sew... sewing sewing sewing! yay!

Holy mother of all!!! I woke up this morning with some bumps on my neck... now... they are alll down my shoulders, chest and back. now that I am thinking about them they itch, but that's just because I'm the type of person that likes to "pick"... all the time... I havent eaten anything strange, done anything different... changed soap... NOTHING... we got a hot tub a few weeks ago... but nothing in there has changed either. it looks like little pimples, some have white heads, some are just red raised bumps. what would YOU put on it? and what in the gods names is it from??? Perhaps the sunshine? wouldnt surprise me... perhaps I need different sun screen... *ugh* there are only a few brands that make the spf 85 that I require. *ARGH*

That I have gotten a phone call from a collections agency for a bill or service that I never subscribed to!!!! I'm kinda irritated!!! This one was easy to resolve! The other is proving harder because it was on a credit card that I had cancled, but apparently someone charged something on it, and I was unaware until I got the phone call from a collection agency. Sometimes Its easier to just pay the bill... but DAMMIT! Its soooo irritating! Yes, I have a flag on my credit now! I put one in with each credit reporting agency! *sigh*

I have remade her pants, and am selling these at a discounted price! These are 100% cotton ivory eyelet fabric, with five ten inch bias ruffles on each leg. White, Ivory, Pink, Brown and Black at the base (its kinda hard to see, but sets em off!) have adjustable elastic as well as a front tie, on the inside, drawstring. Silly beast! I feel so bad for her. Apparently she was trying to eat next to or over a fence, got her foot caught and was STUCK. It was a part of fence that looked like it had been repaired before, and had once again come apart. My aunt called me and told me that one of the horses was stuck, one of the road guys called... (they are working on the road) I rushed up there, Got stopped by the flagger... advised him that it was my horse stuck up there.... and he let me RIGHT through!!! Once I got to where she was... I was talking to her as I came down the hill, she was calling to me so pitifully! Once I got there she was quite happy to see me, but I could tell that she was in pain, and quite uncomfortable! The dumptruck Driver who called ran up the hill to help, there was NO way I could get her out on my own. I held her head as he pulled the wire around and untwisted it so that she could pull her foot out. She had some blood on her hoof... but ran off towards the barn immediately for food. He said that she had been there all day. It took him awhile to realize that there was something wrong. I'm glad that he called. She was standing there watching all the work guys, probably wondering why they weren't coming to help her!! The guy and I tried to get the fence back together, but I told him that I would come back and fix it because My 3 year old son was waiting for me at the car =) well he was on the porch playing with his toys... but still he was alone... Drove up to the barn, fixed Tess up some yummy food (beet pulp, rice bran and 14% protein livestock blend) She's thin enough as it is, she cant go all day with NO FOOD! I added extra water to her mix because I'm sure she was thirsty too, but she bi-passed the water and ran straight for the barn. I got her food going, locked the gate so the other horses couldn't get in and washed her foot with water. Looked round and found some bright purple antiseptic/germicidal spray for livestock and sprayed the crap outta her foot. the cut wasn't so bad, had already started to heal, but needed cleaned and treated. She sure was a trooper!!! I could tell her foot was bothering her a bit, but we'll see tomorrow how she's walking. Silly horses... now she has a bright purple hoof... *giggle* its kinda cute.. I worry for her...

Of corset belt bases, in tons of sizes. All 4 panel belts, could be worn "bare" but would probably look better with more decoration. I made these for a vending event, and it didnt happen (will happen next year) but I need to get these out of my way. I have too much stuff! Trying to clear it out! Get projects that have been sitting there cut up done, get fabrics cut and made into stuff... (they all have labels...) wheee!

Some of them I found on ebay for over $25 (choke) I'm offering free US shipping and discounted international shipping. There will be more de-stash stuff. I have a large box of commercial yarns, hand spun/hand dyed and hand dyed yarns! I have some tassels in there too... Pictures of those will be done tomorrow... I'm currently lacing up corset belts to list up on etsy too. I have a BAZILLION of them... I started them for a vending event that didn't happen (it will next year for SURE)... and am just now finishing! Lacing them is my "tv" things to do. (I cant just sit in front of the tv).
