I'm always looking for new and improved ways to put in extensions (locks, braids, dreads, and falls). How do you ladies do it?
Also--anyone in the Dallas area up for helping me put in my dread extensions? I can do it for other people...but I have the damnedest time doing it to myself. awkward.

you could combine that red you got from hot topics with a bit of black and burgundy for the desired effect in a fast fix until you find the perfect red. But MAC does have a great red/purple duo in their newest line called Mi'lady.
Finding a good red shadow is like finding a good red lip. it depends on your coloring. you may need a brown toned red, or warm, or blue red.

I just found a red-red eyeshadow in Napoleon Perdis' line. The label says: Colour disk 70.

using lip products around the eye is in general not the best idea.....just sayin.
if you can find a good costume supply store, they may carry ben nye or kryolan brand professional/stage use cosmetics. you can find a good vibrant red color from one of those brands. you can also find kryolan and ben nye products on ebay pretty easily.
