Ankhara is truely a dancing Goddess. She is a warrior, wild woman, and messanger of truth. I always know where I stand with her because she is one of the most honest and open woman I know. Her common scense and realism has helped guide me through some confusing and difficult times. I have mad respect for her and love her dearly!!!

My husband and I got on board with the HBO series Carnivale a bit late; we started watching it about mid-way through the first season. I joined Netflix so we could catch up & figure out just what the heck was going on anyway.

That about sums up my day. Poor Kylee has a big plastic collar around her head now, a shaved backside and a laser surgery appointment for Monday.

It's a dog's life. 
I went to a yoga class yesterday - gentle yoga, mind you. Injuries to my 40-year old knee & hip and long hours at work are causing my right side to stiffen up on a regular basis. One of my dance mates strongly suggested that I try her yoga class at the Y, so I finally took her up on it.

I'm so supremely psyched! It looks like I won't miss Rites of Spring after all. I wasn't going to go for different reasons, but when I got my email announcement stating this was the last week for regular registrations, I rearranged my schedule and it's a go.
