about me
Whatever I write, they're just things about me...snapshots, pieces, reflections. I'm a mother of 2 littles, one boy and one girl, 17 months apart, the joys of my life. Henna artist, Bellydancer, singer, and spiritual seeker. Unitarian Universalist, avid reader, dreamer (again, finally), idea person, adored and content wife, picture framer and devoted friend. I love to sew costumes, listen to live music, make my friends laugh, swim, eat wonderful food, and sing to most anyone. I think I'm an optimist, probably a bit naive, certainly harder on myself than on others..aren't we all?

It's amazing when I think how long ago it was I last posted anything here..even just stopped in to my own page. But I'm back, determined to be back, glad to be back. Life is so short, so fragile, so full. I want to share it w/ my friends, share in thiers near and far. I want to remind myself about the things that light my fire and maybe take a breath of the air my friends are breathing when they bloom.
Maybe all that sounds poetic or pompous, but it's where I am right now, how tonigh...

Yesterday I posted to tribe looking for events to grow my henna business and make new friends. Today I already had messages and well wishes. It is amazing how one little pebble can create so many ripples. All I can think is how AWEsome ... how grateful I am to be part of this. Thank you Susan, for pointing me here. Thank you tribe.net creator people for creating the forum. This gratitude thing could be catching and I don't want to sound like a grammy acceptance speech. Instant Karma. H...

My children are the most amazing, most challenging thing I've ever done in my entire life. Seager and McKenna are growing like weeds, learning about being siblings, and sharing mischeif...as much as any 2 year old and 8 month old can. i.e. "Stop touching me! She's touching me! Giggle giggle" etc.
Seager has the most amazing way of really seeing into you and saying just the right and totally unexpected things. Great advice giver and such a soother. He's very into "make it better" and ...
