My deepest condolences. There is no love like the unconditional love of a pet/companion. I was with our Lab, Dakota when we had to put him to sleep. It was soul wrenching but we were there with him to the end and would have suffered anything for him for all that he gave us in return.

...and yeah, Gothalot, it was so hard being with her while they did it, but I just could not leave her when she needed me the most. Not when she was always there for me!

sympathy for your corporeal loss and the absence of your great old friend nothing is harder than breaknig from the special love with pets, which I think is something special well beyond human love - becuase between a pet and a people, there is just the love - no 'chemistry', relationship maintenance, or couples therapy - just love love love and you both still and will always have that |
