My dear, sweet little Kidda is getting old. Last week, I took her into the vet's office 'cause she had a swollen face which ended up being an abscessed tooth. After checking her out, the doc found that she is also severely anemic and has chronic renal failure. He wanted to put her down on Friday. I was at work and just cried and cried that I wouldn't get to see her to say goodbye. My boss let me leave early so I could be with her for an hour before they closed and she was put down. This was late afternoon. We walked in and she woke up to see me and let me hold her. I set her back in her cage when she started eating like the pig that she is. My sister said "No way!" and ran to grab the doc. he came in and said that she had improved a lot since the morning and that he didn't feel comfortable putting her down just yet. She isn't ready. I got to take her home the next morning (Sat) and have had to administer Kitty Torture twice a day. I give her a sub q drip, antibiotics, pain meds and vitamins. We went to see the doc yesterday and he said that we are just going day to day at this point. She will tell me when she is ready to go, and she's not doing that yet. she's still eating/drinking, being somewhat active, although much slower than she used to, doing her bidness regularly....so yeah, she's not ready. I am just going to try my best to keep her comfortable until she decides she is finished. She is a good kidda and we've had some good times being brat together. I love her!

I hate those new Burger King commercials! They're obviously made by a bunch of suits who have never worked behind a counter in their lives. Why on earth would any company promote treating their minimum wage-earning employees like complete and utter shit? I can understand the need for them to show their product as being desirable, but these commercials only promote people to act like bigger assholes than they already do! Maybe I am being a big baby, but as someone who works retail, it really gets my Irish up! I think that in order to get any sort of degree in university, you must complete at least one year in some form of customer service. These people need to see first hand what it takes to do this sort of job and how shitty the people who have never done it themselves treat them! That, and they are stupid commercials. Oh and the King is super creepy.

Grilled cheese sandwiches are probably my favorite of the comfort foods. I will NOT make it with american cheese. Ever. I like mine with thick slices of cheddar so that it's a bit "chalky" in the middle, though all melty is fucking yummy as well. I like to dip mine in a bit of mustard. ...add taco seasoning! I'm feeling in a rambling mood. Just watch me ramble! So yeah. It's been a hard year for me, but also a lot of other people to. what the fuck is going on? I keep hearing about all of this bad stuff! Depression, being broke, thoughts of suicide. Fuck. This is NOT good. I need to be happier with myself and my life quick so that I can go back to being a good supportive friend (and lover and sister, and aunt, etc.) My being a saddo is NOT helping anyone, especially me! So, I am going to remember to focus on the good stuff, like say....my birthday is in less than three weeks, yo!...and I have a lot of good friends, and a lovely, cute, sexy and spastic boyfriend, I have a cute old lady kidda, my niece is out at the Pike Place Market buying us seafood for breakfast! I'm making some cool bracelets and things to sell! Can't forget to think of that stuff. That stuff is good. Sure, I am having financial troubles, but you know what? So are a lot of people, I need not dwell on my issues, I'm not all that special. I mean, sometimes, I will get all moody and think "well, my problems don't really matter anyway." and you know what? they really don't! I mean, to ME they do, but not really to anyone else. Sure, people would like to see me happy, but when it comes down to it, my problems DON"T matter to others, and they really shouldn't. Everyone has their issues, and....blah, blah, blah. I am rambling. Told you! I'm not feeling so pretty these days. Don't know why, but I am not going to worry about it. I'll figure it out. maybe I'll do something with my hair, maybe I'll just decide that I don't care. We'll see. I'm looking into maybe taking sparring lessons. I don't really want to get hit, though. Maybe I'll just beat up a punching bag. We'll see. Kick boxing might be fun too. My dad is all excited that I want to learn to spar! Isn't that hilarious? I love my dad, he's a good sport. The poor guy has 6 kids, three boys, three girls. The girls were all into sports and cutting our hair short, and the boys all had long hippy hair and were more interested in music than sports! hahaha! He took it in stride 'cause we're his kids. Sure, he would have liked us girls to be all pretty with long hair and dresses, but that's not who we were. We have always been allowed and encouraged to be who we are. That's rad! yay! Yeah, so okay. Let's review. Gonna be happy. Gonna beat people up. going to have a birthday soon (I'm going to have a bbq and grill oysters. If anyone wants to come, let me know, I'm inviting many people!) dad is cool, boys are hippies, everyone has issues.....yeah, i think I've covered it. bye!

I have this original Road Warrior press packet and I have finally decided that it is time to sell it. My problem is I have no idea what to ask for it, or where the best place for it to be seen it would be. I know it is worth something, 'cause it's fucking cool! I know that it is worth over 20 bucks, but I've heard from a lot of people who aren't in the trade that I should ask $100-$150-$200. I'm not sure. I am going to have to find a place where people who would want it will look. I don't want to take it to a comic books store because they will not be able to pay retail price as they need to mark it up themselves to make any money. Anyone have any clue? Anybody want to make an offer? It's really cool!

I'm pretty bummed about it, but the fact that I don't want to be homeless kinda makes that not important. Besides, somebody should be riding her. One thing that is cracking me up was that I listed it before I had time to take a photo. people are so used to things being handed to them, that mostly I got messages asking to see the picture before even considering looking at it. I remember back in the day when you found stuff to buy in the newspaper with no ads. Then you got off your fat butt and went and looked at it. This is a 1961 Vespa. There aren;t a lot of them out there! It's going to look cool, no matter what! Sheesh! Anyhoo, if any one knows anyone in Seattle who wants this, I REALLY need to sell this so I don't get evicted! So, For the past 10 minutes, I've been running around the apartment frantically trying to get ready for work. More than frantic, I was panicky! Yelling, "Fuck. fuck. FUCK!!!! Where the fuck are my socks! Oh my god! Oh my god! I don't wanna be late!! Fuck FUCK FUCK!!!! Shit! My lunch! I need my lunch!!! FUCK!!!!!" Um..... I don't work until 9:30 during the week. Glad I noticed it this time. heh.

I am now in love with the new Ry Cooder album! Apparently, Leadbelly sent him a photo of himself with a cat head taped over his own head and a note saying "You'll know what to do with this" so he wrote this great album about a cat named Buddy, who travels all over the country. He's a commie cat, whose best friend is a mouse named "Lefty". It starts out kinda blue grassy, and ends up sounding like Captain Beefheart (who Cooder played with in his teens) or like Raindogs era Tom Waits.
