If you ask an honest question, you have to be prepared to accept any answer.
Habits form the walls of our cages, and when we can’t see the bars we don’t ever try to escape.
--Chris Aydelotte
Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement. So go out there, mess things up, and be honest with people.

I just felt the need to update:
Annika is truely an amazing Goddess
look at her beauty as it radiates
look at what she does and has no fear (none that I have seen)
take on the world baby and conquer it
just look at you moving to New Zealand! wow
may you carry this with you
You are the goddess
and you are love
you are powerful
and gentle
may those that meet you always see the light that you shine and be guided by your spirit
I love you

Leopard woman. Fast and speed thirsty, she doesn’t care for the sitting tree mammals. Give her the open air, the sharp hot dusty wheat. Give her camouflage, she will find you, even if you can’t find her. She is changeable and protective. Everything about Annika, for me, is like a cross between the strongest tree and the fastest cat. And that dichotomy is exactly where I nestle my head, calm in the power of her love, the power of her fierceness, the power of her grace.

Annika is wonderful! Love you my little sugarbritches! I've so enjoyed getting to know and now call friend this beautiful, sexy, smart and full-o'energy woman! She's too much fun and likes to play and carous with the best of them! Glad we've become friends!

Annika is indeed a force to be reckoned with. Whether a force for good, evil, mischief, or merriment, the force of her magnificent energy, intelligence, and great attitude are always plainly apparent. The world is a better, louder, and more sarcastic place with her in it.

Just one calorie, not evil enough.
“Come away, O human child: To the waters and the wild with a fairy, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.”
-William Butler Yeats
"There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
-Anais Nin
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
– Emerson
Words are born again in my mouth by forgetfulness of their once having been in others'.

I do not blindly add people to my Friends list. I generally only add people I actually know and have met as Friends. If you want to add me and we haven't ever met, send me a few messages first. I'd like to get to know you before adding you. Thanks!

Would you really believe anything I wrote?
You know, sometimes I am one hell of a cook. Special thanks to my brother for the tips on preparing the venison. It was one tasty dinner!

On Saturday I had a major personal breakthrough. I won't bore you with the details, but it involved dissolving the walls I've built around myself and laying bare to the light all that I've kept hidden...from others, from the light, from me. Now I find myself in an interesting period of widely swinging emotions - sadness, joy, anger, relief, jealousy, etc. All these old negative thoughts I believed I had defeated long ago are returning to the surface for another round. I realised today it's...

This is the longest I've visited my brother and his family. I realised before this visit the longest I had spent was 9 days. Right now we're up over 3 weeks. I head to San Francisco next Wednesday to do my Maid of Honour duties. It's been such an awesome visit. Having so much time with the kids has been good for my soul. Catching up with dear old friends I haven't seen in years has been healing and reminds me of my roots. My brother and I have had some good talks and haven't fought at a...
