My second session of American Tribal Style bellydance classes for the spring will be starting up again this Thursday, March 20th, and will last for eight weeks, through Thursday, May 8th. The classes are held at the Dance Center, at 223 S. Pete Ellis Dr. on the east side of Bloomington. Additionally, we'll be holding our spring hafla on Saturday, May 10, so please join us then for a great party and wonderful dancing.

My friend and dance student Libby Bulloff has an art show open this month, titled "Pipe Dream: A Steampunk Wunderkammer." It's an exploration of the steampunk aesthetic through painting, photography, textiles, and mixed media. This past weekend, Dark Side Tribal (that is to say, myself, Heather, and Alice, plus the Cowboy, my dance student B and her fellow D) headed up to Chicago for another year of Tribal Revolution. It was a fantastic weekend all in all.
