10 Pounds of Blue Faced Leicester

My order of fiber came in last week. Thats right 10 pounds of blue faced leicester. I am going to dyed it and spin it and sell it. Not necessarily in that order. It spins up so nicely, especially as novelty yarn. I'm so happy!!!

I am going to be doing my annual Holiday craft fairs in Berkeley. I will be at the Berkeley Farmer's Market the first three Saturdays in December.

We pulled out the turkey to see how much time we had until it was done. The thermometer read 190 degrees. That meant done, very done. We had never had a turkey cook so fast. The potatoes weren't mashed, the gravy not made, the pies not finished and the yams not cut. Kiel's mom cut up the potatoes so they could get mashed, Forrest was mixing up the gravy, Kiel finished up the pies, Nolan peeled the yams and I cut them.

I have been so incredibly busy lately. Every week I think things are going to calm down but it just gets busier. Thankfully I am loving it! A few weeks ago I worked over 60 hours in one week. Me, who believes the standard work week should be 20-30 hours! Since then I have only been working 45-55 hour weeks. No biggie, right?!?
