I had similar feelings when I travelled in Spain years ago and watched a bullfight: the bull was stabbed to death and I couldn't believe the audience was on their feet cheering for the bullfighter.
This story is especially disturbing. It amazes me that people have so little respect for other beings; it's no wonder we're at war... |

disgusting
I hate this. I am outraged and very disappointed in the human race, it may be about culture but it's humanity, which they obviously missed the bus on that one.

I totally agree with you concerning the torturing of animals in most of the aspects listed here. I find it incredibly distasteful. However they did mention one thing that i dont have a problem with - which is - eating animals for food. I think as long as animals are raised in non-torturous ways and killed humanely its okay to eat them - I am a meat eater after all. However tiny cages where the animals go mad and using chickens as bait and basically anything that involves killing as a form of entertainment is morally corrupt. I recently stopped shopping at walmart for other reasons unrelated to this so you have my vote on that anyways.

WTF??
I am totally shocked. Tiger wine?? I am not surprised that they offer all of those different kinds of meat in their restaurant.
That's how many animals drop dead each day from living like that. I am glad that this was shown to me. I want to be more aware and this is one place to start. I love animals and would love to do what ever I can to help stop these kinds of so called "Zoo's" from operating. How tragic for these poor creatures. |
