Let me tell you....
For work, I was assigned in Charlotte for several weeks and was able to take some classes at Lotus Studios, taught by Nayna ! Whoot. (Thank goodness she kept correcting my hands.....! )

Drum dance to be taught to my pahtnah, and then we'll have something fun for next Hafla. Also had Liora workshop (IN GREENVILLE!!) recently, so lots of new combos to play with. We went to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. If you don't know anything about Cedar Point, but like roller coasters, then you are missing the best roller coaster park EVER. The whole park is on a penninsula in Lake Erie so the views are incredible as you are cranked up to the first drop ! Our families have been planning this trip since Christmas and booked onsite cabin for the six of us... read more 
Our husbands had a mad wish to go to Buck-o-Rama in Atlanta three weeks or so ago. I had already made my mind up to STAY HOME, but Vicki informed me of some India bangle and sari stores that we must check out...so it was a family event !

After Sharon Kihara (the flexible, Yoga-mad, and incredibly beautiful...) spent four hours running us through muscle control and shared her seriously sweet soul with us....i find myself crunching my glutes and trying belly flutters, and belly rolls at unusual moments. My body just wants to attempt them. Must do what the body wants !

Holidays of course.....zoom there they went ! Then a whole slough of birthdays to cope with. Gary's mom visited in February for several days. Did a Hafla/Show end of January at a new Mid-East restaurant...wonderful experience, fabulous show, good feelings all around. I did very well, and was proud of my efforts. Is is possible to fall in love at first sight with a friend? Yup, it happened! I loved this girl from the moment I first met her, then we got to know each other. WHAT A HOOT!!!!!!! I have only ever laughed with two other people in the world like I laugh with April, my hub and my best friend, Vik. April is caring, genuine, real, fabulous, always prepared for anything, hilarious, mommy-like in the most wonderful ways, sharp and has one of the biggest hearts in the world. After having spent one weekend out of my entire life with her I know we will be life-long friends. I miss you, lady! I truly love you! Now, get your butt up here for a damn visit! *big squeezes that last and last*
