about me
Let me try and sum up who I am so that it is short and sweet.... At the moment, I am living one day at a time-and making huge progress in my life's journey. What is most important to me right now is living in the moment, rediscovering myself and re-evaluating the relationships I have with the people in my life and my purpose on this Earth. How can I describe myself? I have no labels but I know that I am a HUMAN. Perhaps I am more like a Chameleon-always changing and adapting. What remains consistent is MY truth and honoring and respecting the TRUTH in others. I may falter in my discovery of MY truth and I hope you will forgive me when I make mistakes along the way. It took me a long time to let go of clinging to what is "right" and "wrong". I have gone through too much suffering and attachment and engagement with drama in my life and I have seen friends, family and the sufferings of others on a global scale. I now understand-everyone has THEIR way, and all I can do is stay mindful of how my actions may affect others. Practicing loving-kindness in the face of those who wish harm upon others allows me to simply live in the now without taking things personal and I have faith that my compassion will help others around me to grow in every which way that helps them. I just step back and trust that karma will unfold in it's own mysterious ways. Truth never needs to be defended as long as you believe that your actions are done with the right intentions and with love. At times I am a social butterfly-other times I retreat from life. I live in a balance between the light and the dark because without experiencing and FEELING the good and the pain, then I will never learn how to grow. It does not matter if I live in the sun's bright rays or in the shadows of the moonlight-I grow under both light and that makes me ME.I'm friendly & approachable. I'm simple, & complex. I AM TRYING TO THINK BEFORE I SPEAK!! Sometimes I shock people. I definitely make people laugh. Creative people, places & things fulfill me. I trust people until I am given a reason not to, but I won't hold a grudge for too long. "Family" consists of more than just your own flesh & blood. I believe in treating my friends the way I would treat my own kin. I am generous to a fault & I wear my heart on my sleeve. I believe in living in the moment, taking chances & having no regrets.
Some Thoughts on Christmas Day
In this exclusive excerpt from "Miss Manners' Guide to Excruciatingly Correct Behavior," Miss Manners brings her patented wit and unfailing wisdom to Christmas Day and presents.
By Judith Martin
Christmas is an important day for everyone to practice hypocrisy. Does that offend you? Miss Manners is so excessively polite that she rarely has the wicked pleasure of offending people, and you must allow her to relish the sensation for a moment before she explai...

Dear A:
Out of respect for you, I didn't include your name. I probably should
have, as you had absolutely no respect for me during our breakup last
year. I don't really have to worry about your running across this
letter, but hey, you might. Maybe you're starting a new porn site or
something. I just wanted to ask, and think out loud why do I still
miss you, and love you? True, we were together for nearly five years,
we moved cross-country together twice, and we owned a dog toge...
