about me
I am at heart a homebody bookworm. I know that if I live a good life, treat the poor with compassion, and am kind to animals, when I die God will send me to a University book store. I like cats, dogs, crossword puzzles, am not a bar person or much of a party person, but I do enjoy the quiet company of friends. I also love to wander really terrific museums. London and Everywhere in Italy were religeous experiences in terms of museums. I have a son who is the light and joy of my life.

My Testimonials

January 20, 2008
Such radiant shine doth come from her smile, the brightest moon beams dance among her sparkling tresses, Warmth and love doth float from the light melodious voice.

Oh beautiful goddess share you beauty with us lowly mortals.

I love Charlotte. I met her during my first year at REC faires. She was kind and shared all her acting knowledge with a mer-mortal like me. I was over joyed when she went Black now and then. She is a wonderful person who helped the true nerd in me come out.

I love ya Charlotte.

Charlotte is super awesome and funny and crude and smart, yet also occasionally foolish and not afraid to admit it, and silly and daring and strong and opinionated and talented and pretty... I wish I lived closer so I could bask in the glory of her shiny white-yellow hair and great, glorious, glowing grin!

Maybe I will be able to steal her away to Italy so we can howl with laughter at our stupid insider American humor. Mmm... Italian coffee, Charlotte jokes, and man watching. What could be better?

*hugs*

Seldom does a friend come along that relates with you on a level no other person can truly comprehend...that is my Charlotte. We met through fair (as most do nowadays) and had an immediate connection. Char has been not only a friend to me, but also a soul mate, an older sister, an equal, a roommate, a shopping buddy, a moving buddy, a dog sitter, a labor coach, a mentor, a study buddy, a partner in crime, a martini buddy, an accomplice, family, and so much more to me. Charlotte's picture is next to the word, "altruism". She gives and loves without thought of pain. She is by far the most selfless person I know in this world. She speaks her mind and will speak yours when you need her to. My life would not be what it is today without her. We have cried and laughed together. I tolerate her love for really bad horror flicks and she introduces me to opera culture. I want to be more like this woman. She is the best mother I know. Her son has never questioned the love his parents have for him. She is very passionate for love and education. Charlotte, I truly could go on forever about this, but I must stop here. My one regret about moving is the distance I have put between the two of us. You love my son as if he was your own. Our kids have a seven year age difference and get along so well. Max calls Jude his brother...which obviously makes us sisters. I yearn for the day when we can load the kids in the car and go shopping and out for Sbarros once again. I miss you more than I could possibly articulate and properly express over email.

Charlotte has been kind to me from the day i met her. She even let me hold her baby, when he was still a baby. That makes me feel old. Charlotte looks the same as when I met her, six(7? cheebus!) years ago, only with less mud on her face.

And she is the only white woman I have ever met who doesn't look silly in a sari. She just looks hot.

Thinkity think think think...

No, seriously, I need a real, live guinea pig. Friend's daughter had a guinea pig that died...since he and her mother are engaged in a really *nasty* post divorce custody thing it was agreed that daughter didn't also need a "cyle of life" lesson right this minute.

So. I need a male guinea pig...chocolate brown (not black) with a rusty read ring around his tummy. I've canvassed every pet store between South San Francisco and Novato...if anyone can get a lead on this little piggy I'll m... read more

Hi All,

I have to move. I don't want to move, I love my house...however this was not a choice issue...so I have to move. I was very lucky in having a landlady here who let me bring in the three cats that I have...I am not lucky in that same way with my new place. I can have only one cat and Eric won't take either of the other two because he can't have pets at all where he is.

I'm angry, I'm frustrated, I hate the thought of losing my cat friends and I'm probably not doing a good job ... read more

AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.

2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT ~ BY USING THE SINK.

3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.

4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROL... read more

It's taken a few days to get a chance to wrap up our great New Years Eve in Idyllwild..but here it is!

Me and Casey, in matching pajamas, alternating between eating and watching tv, kids thriving on benign neglect. Good Times...

but wait! There's more!

How about a drive down the mountain...six thousand feet of windy road...how about the kid in the back seat (mine) getting carsick and PROJECTILE VOMITTING straight into the front seat! The first arterial spray of banana gore slammed... read more
