What My Friends Say About Me

February 16, 2009
Arcangel is one of the most caring people I know on Tribe. He always has a kind word to say. He's thoughtful and just an all around wonderful person that makes you feel like your day has started off with a hot chocolate!......And look at that smile! He's damn good looking! You are really missing out if your not friends with this one! He's one of a kind. Sweet Arcangel, I'm so glad you are my friend. Much love to ya! (((HUGS))) - Denice.

Time and distance can never compromise, diminish or change the bond I feel with my sweet friend Arc...Though (like mine) his halo may be a bit bent and tarnished, his wings a lil dirty, J is one of the kindest, gentlest and most caring folks I've ever known...and let's not forget passionate...

I'm never more than a thought away from you....

My Johnnylicious hunka man meat,

Where do I begin... This man is one in a million. Sweet to the core, he's been one of my most amazing tribe friends through out the years. He is what keeps me coming to tribe.

A star wars geek to the bone, he has the most amazing sense of humor, he cracks me up everyday (when we can log on) to the point of nearly wetting myself. A true talent!

He truely has been the most amazing person I've met in the internet world. Proving to me there are still some great people in this world. I feel like I've been friends with arcangel forever!!

Can't wait till the day we can meet for dinner!!

yes, ladies, he's DEFINATLY a keeper!!

A Poem about.... A "Fallen Angel"

I Have Fallen From The Sky
Fallen To The Ground
I Am The Angel of Sadness
Angel of Lost Hopes
Angel of Lost Dreams
I Am The Fallen Angel

Fear Me Not
I Am Here For A Reason
That Reason Is To Have A Second Chance In Life
That Life I Was Given For A Reason
They Took My Wings
They Took Me Apart Made Me Human
I Was The Fallen Angel

But That Fallen Angel Had One Chance In Life That He Was Given
This Angel Won’t Make The Same Mistakes He Made Before
This Angel Will Go Down The Right Path That Has Been Chosen For Him
This Fallen Angel Knows What He Has To Do To Be Forgiven

A Fallen Angel who has crash-landed here on Earth after a very long hard fall from grace.

Vedic Astrology

Like yoga, Vedic Astrology originated in India thousands of years ago.
The ancient wisdom of the Vedas can be an integral tool in building a life of lasting happiness and joy.

Your Moon Nakshatra is: Revati

Revati: Means "The Wealthy"

The symbol of Revati? Is a Fish.

Revati is ruled by Mercury, which shows a humane and even course through life will feel appropriate.
Communication, playfulness, and fairness will be important to you.

Mythologically, Pushan, the Sun as a nourisher, is the presiding deity here.
Pushan is the divine shepherd. He leads the flocks and herds home safely after a long journey.
His protective influence presides through these last degrees of the Zodiac, providing shelter for the weary soul wishing to return home or simply rest. Fertility, growth, and generosity of all sorts are the domain of Revati. There are many blessings and rewards here for having stayed the course and completed the journey. Among those blessings are wealth and success in all endeavors.

Revati is perhaps the most selfless of all the star groups. A love of animals and helpless creatures of all sorts is also seen here. A mystical mind that appreciates the value of self-sacrifice is pervasive here.

Strengths:
You have a highly creative mind and the desire to use it for the good of all. You are protective of others and willing to help those in need. You have good luck in business and all moneymaking pursuits. Your sincere efforts will be rewarded due to good past life merit and generosity in this lifetime. You prioritize connections to family and community.

Shadow issues:
You may be self-sacrificial to the point of masochism at times and grow to resent others for it. This painful crisis will undermine your natural desire to give selflessly. Self-destructive behavior through indulgence and escapism is possible. You may be prone to misdirection and wandering if depression and cynicism take hold.

Arclight: The Chronicles of Arcangel

A very good friend of mine calls me up at the last minute and says to me "I have an extra Ticket for the NIN/Jane's Addiction Concert up in West Palm, you interested in going?"
Now, even though I am not a big fan of doing things at the "last minute" (What can I say? I like to plan things out typically)...it took me all of like 5 seconds to respond with..."Shaawwwwww! Absolutely!!"
This was to be THE first concert of the North American Tour and they were kicking it off here in South Florida!... read more

Ah!
Springtime In South Florida
Spring has become my favorite season after living/spending so much time here in the Southeast Region of the US (Growing up on the West Coast and in California? Summer was my favorite season with all the Dry Heat and Sun).
It is a time when the weather is absolutely enjoyable here...you have this convergence of Nice weather, pleasent temperatures that range anywhere from the upper 60-ies to the low-80-ies, the Ocean water is warm and fun to swim in (Watch out... read more

Well now!
It looks like Winter has come down here to South Florida (or as I commonly refer to this place...South Flori-Hell) like an annoying and/or unwanted relative who shows up for a visit to your home!
Many people think..."Ohhhhh South Florida! Warm Weather while the rest of the Country is frozen over! Sand, Sun, Plam Trees and Pink Flamingos and drinks with those little Umbrellas in them! What a perfect little vacation spot!"

Well I am here to tell YOU my Friends...it does get cold ... read more

Hasta la Vista 2008!
Hello there 2009!!

Wow
Am I ever glad that THIS particular year is finally coming to a close...and I think it is a fair assumption and safe to say that I think a great majority of my friends and people in general feel the exact same way!

Was it me? Or did everyone else feel that the past 12 months was full of more ups and downs then an elevator ride in the Sears Tower?!?!

Personally?
I went through some VERY heavy personal issues at the beginning of the 2008..... read more

Well now!

The Season here in South Florida has taken a turn for the better my friends!

A Change of Seasons is in affect here in the Southeast.
So long Summer/Hurricane Season 2008...good bye to the 90% humidity, the suffocating heat (nothing like walking out of your home at 6 or 7am in the morning on your way to school or work and feeling like you walked right into a steam bath) and the Monsoon-like rains that happen here 6 months out the year (speaking of which...ever been in a virtua... read more

Since the Month of December happens to be the one that I was Born in many, many MANY Moons ago!
A friend of mine who is into the whole Astrology-thing and did a Vedic Reading for me on a lark (Vedic Astrology is from India and dates back Millennia)...I never have put much faith or belief in Astrology and Astrological "Signs" or the reading of Daily Horoscopes and if I do? It is all in good fun and nothing to serious!

So!
It got me thinking....just what IS it that makes "US"...The Mighty... read more

No. 288
That was the number given to me as I stood in line to do my Civic Duty and vote early for the upcoming General Election.
Here in South Florida (I am not sure what is like in other 49 States....) we are allowed to go to the polls as early as 2 weeks ahead of time to help alleviate the huge crowds and time constraints that may prevent people from actually voting on Election Day.

No. 288!?!
What THE...!?!?!
You may think that that was a big number and that I was faced with the Nig... read more

Who knew?
Who knew that Culture....International Culture specifically....could come to South Florida?!
Especially here in the Fort Lauderdale area!!
You know sometimes this area manages to surprise me by actually proving it has a sense of what it takes to appreciate Art & Culture on an International Level and that there are people that live here and do enjoy such things in Life!

This past Friday I was invited by my friends to attend a performance of The Ramayan at the Parker Playhouse ... read more

Well, it's that time of the year here in South Florida and the South Eastern part of the U.S.
Summertime has arrived here unofficially with the arrival of the "Official" Rainy Season.

Ah!
Summer in South Florida!!
A time when the Snow Birds and bad drivers from Up North (primarily New York, New Jersey, Massachussetts and Canada) have all gone back home making most places a lot less crowded for the residents who actually live in the area year round.

The local Beaches are a lot less cr... read more
