about me
Once a whitewater kayaker, I miss the river.
I live for the bitterness and reviving heat of spring's outrageous greens plucked graciously from the garden. I celebrate the elusive wisdom of burdock (gobo). I rejoice for the warmth of winter squash.

To write short blurbs on topics that an editor would never green-light due to their being based on particularly obscure aspects of human perception. Instead, these warm-ups will hopefully explore topics I have interest in but find to be nearly impossible to write even poetry about much less non-fiction prose.
