My Blog

8 True Facts about me.

Thanks to Michael I've been chosen for this task-
RULES - Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog with 8 facts/things/habits about yourself, saying who tagged you. In the end you need to choose the 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs

1) I studied at a University in Northen Ireland in the mid 1990's and quickly picked up, totally unconsciously, an irish accent, which I have now lost. I used it more times than I care to admit to get to sleep with gullible women.

2) My real name isn't Archie, it's Stephen. I just like the name Archie and originally assumed everyone on Tribe used aliases. It seems too late now to change.

3) Whenever anybody asks what my favourite films/books/bands are I usually answer by listing the classics in the genres. But isn't that the reason they're classics because they're really, really good?

4) I live in a medium sized run down town in the far North of England, nearer to Edinburgh than London. I think this is one reason why vulgar displays of English nationalism make me feel uncomfortable and contrary.

5) I cry at sad films, especially made for the blatantly manipulative TV films based on true events. Anything where a child is seperated from it's loved ones is virtually guaranteed to start the waterworks.

6) From the ages of about 11 to 14 I was determined that I would grow up to Jerry Cornelius, a super thin, sexy, cool, deadly, long haired fictional uberspy created by the novelist Michael Moorcock in the late 1960's. Unfortunately I have the wrong build and not enough hair now.

7) I was briefly interested in the concept of Chaos Magick and discussed it with a few people who were well versed in the subject. I came to the conclusion that it wasn't for me.

8) I would love to be able to write poetry and prose exceptionally well. Everytime I try I always get overcome by a feeling of nausea.

I would like to tag the following people with this "meme"-

Amor, Travis, Kala, Freckly, Jim and Buddhagrrl
