"Great Website - a real treat of a change for Lovecraft fans"
Read Briar's review...it says it well. This website is great. The whole concept is a sort of Lovecraftian Spinal Tap...or Spinal Tapped Lovecraft, whichever you prefer...
I will likely buy this CD, but the free documentary and song clips alon...

"Best Buffet in Terre Haute"
Dont let the popularity polls in the local papers fool you, they didn't even list any independents as an option. The Golden Corral of all the generic, cattle-herding food troughs around won the 'people's poll' for Best Buffet. Patently false.

"Another of the 4 Great Terre Haute Restaurants"
Part of the 5th star comes from being a big fish in a small pond, but this is a really great restaurant and the awesome food is well showcased, as is the atmosphere, and even the website (see the link above). This is NOT a place to go on a budget...

Let's face it, Tribe may not be around much longer. My main purpose at Tribe has been to build a network of writers, editors, publishers, bloggers, artists, illustrators, photographers, and businesspeople and other creative and professional types with a long term dream of eventually publishing my own magazine of short fiction and a corresponding annual anthology in book form.
That dream is a long way off, and I am afraid Tribe will not be around by the time I am ready to start tapping i...

Two Realms to Rule
(c) 1982 by M. David Woodall ALL rights reserved
I went to get a glass of orange juice and found the pitcher empty of all but a few droplets. As I took out the frozen concentrate, I felt an awkward, drunken dizziness overwhelm me.
"Jeric, my son, someday all these will be your kingdoms to rule," my father, the king, said with a sweep of his hand. As I looked out over the countryside f...

This story is a very old piece of mine, my literary visit to H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos if you will, which appeared in the 1984 Spring Edition of "Tales as Like as Not" magazine, a very pulpy, all fiction sci-fi/fantasy/horror mag.

Fantasy analyzed the situation and decided that what she had planned to do was justified. She had spent every spare moment of the last few weeks stealing away from her twin sister, w...

I have know Michael Woodall since Middle School. He is one of the most creative souls I have had the pleasure of meeting. Never standing on convention, Michael assaults the complacency of the society at large.
He has a caring side too. Michael recently spent time comforting various members of my family after my mother passed away. His easy manner of conversation and wit made a difficult time more easily born.
Get to know this guy you will not be disappointed!
Cheers,
Brent
