I've been challenging myself this month and it's been going swimmingly. I've been free of television (aside from a few accidental slip-ups) and movies, meat, dairy, refined sugars, sex, drugs, alcohol and gambling. I've made exceptions to the internet challenge to log my hours at work, and to contact friends I'd like to visit next month in Mexico that I'm not in phone contact with. These exceptions I devised before the challenge began but I did make a mid-challenge decision to find a friend an image editing program on the web (SplashUp.com) and I'm making another one now. Reason being, I'm writing "The Argon Challenge" and I'd like to invite you to share your experiences with the process while it's still fresh. Regardless of your degree of success, I'd like to know how the challenge was/is for you. I'll look forward to reading your comments (or tribe mail if you prefer) in February. Also, I'd love to take your picture in the daylight this week before I jaunt of to Guatemala, Belize and Mexico (Jan. 26th) to fall off the wagon. I won't be on the internet so give a ring. My schedule's open all week and I'm happy to come to you. Call me up at (Five, oh!, three) Five, four, four - Six, two, four, three! Big love. peops!
P.S. the "Go Vegan" graffiti image landed on the wall across the train tracks from my work a few days ago. I'm not claiming responsibility but it sure is pretty, no?

I love this man.
We are very different in the vibe we toss into the universe, since he is an inherently gentle soul. Yet he has always effortlessly accepted my way of being (as my cousin once gently put it: there is a lot of flavor to me--and to those who do not happen to like that "flavor", I can inadvertently prove to be a lot to stomach).
Here is a man who invites introspection in others simply by daring it himself, often openly and with subtle eloquence.
I have yet to meet someone in our community who does not value this man, or love what he is about, and that kind of universal acceptance is rarest of rare, especially for a "dude.", know what I mean?

Not only does this man looks great in orange, but he is true and nice and sweet and kind. He is like a butter, sweet cream variety. Argon can be found at the best parties-- always cool chillen with a smile on his face. He is a real piller in our Burner community, always upholding our value systems, oh yes. Two things you should know about Miseur [Whatever-name-is-today]...
1). Of the multiple times I have seen him out and about, strutting around, I've never twice seen him wearing the same outfit.
2). Despite the constant name-changing and profile rearranging, as best I can tell, he's not schizophrenic.

Argon (Ar) is a noble gas that comprises 0.93 percent of the earth's atmosphere. Argon exhibits great stability and creates a blue light in neon lamps. Colorless, odorless, tasteless and nontoxic, Argon forms no known chemical compounds. A specific gravity of 1.38 makes argon 25 percent heavier than air. (See photo above). At atmospheric pressure, Argon becomes a liquid at -302°F. Noncorrosive and non-flammable, Argon also exhibits slight solubility in water.
