Portrait/Glamour Packages Portrait sessions consist of the specified time and taken typically either at your home or at a local park, which ever is more convenient and conducive to a pleasing keepsake image. There is a $25 trip fee for travel outside of the 30 miles included in the package. Glamour sessions are done either in your home or at a private studio and can consist of whatever is comfortable clothing wise for the desired images up to fine art nude. Props to Vicky for sitting through a rather lengthy photo shoot on Dress Rehearsal. I brought out my camera and got a few shots while she was in the Glade. I'm really excited to announce that I've successfully completed my first month for my daily photos project called Photo Informatica. My goal was to pick up the camera everyday of 2009 and take a photo and post it up on the internet. That resolution has become Photo Informatica and can be found at http://www.photoinformatica.com. Having completely 31 photos for January, I have created a flash slideshow via Flickr and posted it up on my blog. Wordpress is simply the best blogging platform out there today. I finally got around to getting off of Tumblr and on to something that allows me much more flexibility. Highly customizable through the use of plugins and widgets, the latest incarnation of Wordpress is simply a dream to use. I've laid out my blog with photography in mind, with a rotating image banner of photos I've taken, my latest Twitter posts and links to other photographers who I admire. Everything is done on location so people wouldn't need to drive to a studio. If the driving distance is more than 30 miles from house in Highland, I do charge an extra $25 as a trip fee. I had an amazing time at the Doug Gordon Workshop yesterday. Doug is a great speaker and a fantastic photographer and business man. His success in the wedding and portrait industry is worth of merit and attention by all.
