Artemisia is an international performer and teacher, based in Belgium where she runs dance school (e) motion, offering belly dance classes to hundreds of students of all levels.
Having started her dance career early in life, she went on to study with international Master Teachers, such as award winning American dancer Aziza, who she continues to study with. Artemisia's performances are full of joy and fun, passion and soul, and audiences around the globe (Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Iceland, South Africa,...) especially appreciate her magic with the silk veil and her sense of humour. She has taught successful workshops at belly dance festivals Europe-wide and has appeared on Belgian, Dutch and Icelandic television, and on professional belly dance DVDs. Workshop participants have described her as an enthusiastic, warm and encouraging teacher, who loves to share her passion and knowledge, combining technical expertise with a great sense of introducing students to communication and creativity in dance
