Despite the apparent perception of approaching recession and lack, most of those reading this live in a culture into which has been accumulated the majority of the wealth and energy of the human world. Think of all the plunder of gold in the "Conquest" era and of all of the economic manipulation since that has lead to the current moment in time, wherein most of us can manifest such dreams, fancies and visions on the material plane if we get motivated. I feel ambivalently about this because I love my artist's life of easy self-expression, yet I know that it is fueled by centuries of blood and pillage. my question is: What are we here to do with this massive accumulation of energy? It all comes dirty...more negative Karma than any of us can ever imagine... yet we are responsible for the direction of its flow. we are born into a position where our intentions connect to an incredible amount of material resource. From the fulcrum where we stand, we can move mountains. What are we doing with it? What are we to do with it? What is our role in this story? What can we do to use our privilege for the benefit of life-systems larger than our personal gratification?

My churchy Aunt and her preacher husband are in town from Florida... I like the Aunt but there are only two safe subjects that we can talk about (diet and scenery) Because I am diplomatic and seek to communicate with those who do not share my trips, I am taking them to the Portland Classical Chinese Garden downtown...lots of safe,neutral foci for our attention. My goal is to be kind without being fake, to maintain my sense of the life that I have without being confrontational... but this is tricky when dealing with those with whom I had to battle in order to attain my post-larval stage as a designer mutant.

My thoughts tend to occur as words sometimes with accompanying images. The dialog in my head is experienced as if it were an actual verbal dialog, usually. If someone is deaf, and does not experience verbal communication, in what form is thought experienced? I do not know how to go about asking this question to someone who would directly know the answer, so maybe someone could fill me in or point me in a good direction of inquiry?

Last night was such a voyage through the alchemical process... I learned that motion of the body, for me, is a vital component without which I have a very hard time getting my stuck energies to give way to new flow. Warming up to bliss involves a melting of obstructing tensions, emotions and thoughtforms... it is tricky in that, when I am stuck in place, my energy runs cold, so to speak and it is thus more difficult to dissolve into Solution. At the Kirtan, I noticed that I was holding on to my blockages... my projections and judgments reflecting all around, confirming the nasty opinions of my inner dialog. my body registered only the perpetual war with gravity It did get moving much more during the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa and Ram Ram Ram but it closed again shortly thereafter... at the end, there was a blissful and dancey Jai Ma chant which helped me to attune my attention to gratitude for being alive...and sending that signal as loudly as i could.... but then i went back to my shrunken state immediately after.... until I went to Earthtones and got dancing... Then it started to make sense Saturday is the Day of Saturn... whose metal (energetic quality) is Lead. Sunday is the Day of the Sun... whose metal (energetic quality) is Gold. Saturday Night, till Sunday Morning, thus is about learning to transmute the Lead energy into the Gold energy. And this is exactly what I was being forced to do... transmute my own heavy, dense, toxic energies into flowing,radiant, incorruptable energies. Dance, for me is the physical path to doing this... the universe answered and love-bombed me with so many delightful moments of connection that the whole night formed a theme in which the two primary cultural attractors that I orbit were both present, but at different times... ecstatic ritual and ecstatic dance... one without the other would have left my night feeling incomplete. the Full Moon was like a magnifying glass over the mysteries of the nocturnal work of experiencing and releasing my fossilized thought-patterns and energy blockages that keep me from being optimally happy and alive. Memory is so selective... sometimes it is tuned to everything that we prefer to recall about ourselves. sometimes it is focused on our versions of stories that reinforce our sense of being right or at least likable. then there are the special times when the mind has vivid access to our most embarrassing moments. These arise most often late, late at night/morning when I am trying to sleep.....oh precious, reluctant sleep. One scene will unfold within the theater of my mind, and I, a captive audience, will be forced to relive it again and again... then another will appear and another. There is a plane of embarrassment where these files are stored...and when we are vibrating at its frequency, the dam bursts and out they all rush to accuse and torment our hapless psyche. ...Now I am sending this mind-dart into my memory-well so that I will be ready next time: Instead of succumbing to the wretched ridiculousness of my larval fumblings during these times, I will analyze each embarrassing episode to ascertain which of my Elements or Planetary-Souls was disrupting the harmony and balance of my Self. How was the psyche overwhelmed to the point that there was the embarrassing disconnect or dissonance with the situation around me? Which god stole the microphone and camped out on stage, despite the objections of the rest of the crew? With these questions i will transmute these uncomfortable recollections back into the energy/information from which they were first composed. I will follow the trail of each of the deities within my psyche to discover how they each act out when I lose focus or allow myself to be their entertainment.

today was about absorbing the succulent photon-ambrosia as it poured down upon us...wandering through the neighborhood or climbing trees on Mt. Tabor.... i needed to let go of my hyper-multi-tasking and just be ridiculous and formless for a day... i wrote quite a bit, though...taking notes on the flashing signals that did not leave me alone until a few mimosas in... then we watched most of Sebastiane until it got so awkward for everyone that it got nixed... i still dig that movie....i guess that it is slightly gay-ish for most people's taste, though... It was a delightful distraction from the feeling that i can never fully manifest all of the ever-expanding inspirations that are erupting in my brain-transceiver....

every moment it becomes more obvious that this is the year that i have been rehearsing for my entire life...

The Trap We Are In

"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God" The genocidal psychosis of our species can be traced back to this idea. The inability to distinguish between the beginning of RECORDED literary history...and the beginning of the actual, objective, phenomenal universe. There is a massive, politically significant group of people who believe that the world and all the universe was literally created six thousand years ago. This is because the story-telling process and record-keeping process that constitutes "history" began then. I was schooled in a learning institute wherein the teachers tried to convince me that the dinosaur-bones were either placed by Satan to fool us into believing that existence extends before 4000BC...or that they were the bones of the Nephilim (Angel-human hybrids wiped out in Noah's flood). If I were to tell you that I came into existence on day one of my diary, you would laugh. If I were to tell you that my diary had run out of pages, and now I must kill myself, you would feel the need to intervene in my insanity. What if someone told you that we are in a book, which started 4000BC and which ends about now. Since that book ends with most of humanity being incinerated in the eternal pain-furnace, that means we should get to work on a nuclear war, right? Unfortunately, this is the mental environment which informs the Evangelicals who are extremely active in the U.S. military and in the White House. Similar strains of this noxious obsession are influencing the other two religions produced by "The Book". Whether we call it "Torah" "Quran" or "Bible"...the idea that there is a book which is somehow identical to reality leads to several logical and spiritual fallacies. One is the confusion of the beginning of written history with the beginning of reality (which has been demonstrated by such wonders as the "Creation Museum" http://www.creationmuseum.org/) The other is the even more disturbing idea that since every book must END, then so must this Earth. Since the Bible ends with the Armageddon of total war, after which the "believers" are rewarded eternally at the cost of all other sentient beings...then the sooner this war gets started, the better, right? After Earth is nuked, God's chosen get to go to that big Amerker in the sky, right? I challenge you all to come up with a better script than this. Compose an alternate ending...one that doesn't even have to end. Come up with something more creative, more compassionate to the non-human characters in this silly myth obsession. The story is amazing...it has been going for billions of years and is incomprehensible to us humans. We are a jewel of aeons of cosmic conspiracy to incarnate more and more variety of consciousness...but this does not mean that it all revolves around us. I challenge you all to come up with a story-line that weaves into the beautiful eternal tapestry of all beings evolving together through time.... and then lets start acting our stories out and see if we can provide something other than the death-march into which so much of our species has been seduced. Amen
