about me
I read voraciously.
I draw, paint, knit, and sculpt in stained glass and beads when I can find time... I have a BS in Biology and will be starting on my MS in entomology sooner or later... I love many legged things!

I was discussing my current state of domesticity with the boyfriend the other night and cracked a joke about learning domestic tasks and forgotten crafts in preparation for the zombie apocalypse. (Really I just enjoy cooking and puttering around in the dirt but am not ready to admit to having a domestic streak.) That aside, it is TOTALLY true. Follow my logic (albeit novel, I admit.) I don't like the idea of Valentine's Day. It's not cause I'm bitter and lonely, cause I'm not either. Well, maybe a little bitter, but only in that dark chocolate sorta way... Anyway. It seems for each individual to be a unique experience, not a single one the same as the others. Each one building on the others in layers, like a well told story. Some are not really notable, shrugged off with a "Nah, it didn't hurt," an...

Re: ~Where The Wild Things Are~
(in A Circle of Merry Folk)
I got all weepy too, arroooooo!!!!!! Was kinda sad that the Arcade Fire song from the trailer wasn't in the movie or during the credits. When I saw the trailer in the theater, I cried. Both times. I'm so sappy sometimes. Wild Things is my favorite...
