What can I say about this hot, smart, talented man?
Nothing. Kidding...I'm really kidding. Mykl is a pretty darn kool kat. Met him on Tribe and have really enjoyed all the time we have spent together. He's deep, thoughtful, creative and darn right sexy. I am so glad our paths have crossed, he has definitely made my life a little more fun and enlightened. hes a really great, warm , funny, creative individual , and i was drawn to his kindness from the first time i met him ... little did i know he is also a great dj, i would find that out as soon as i invited him to spin at tranquility base ..... he blew me away then and continues to every time i hear him ... im really greatful to have mykl as a friend his wisdom and kindness helped me when i needed it most .... i feel lucky to know him and i am looking forward to all the great parties we will play together ..... to a bright future mykl.... dylan February 17, 2004

The new release embarks on a journey that Luminous started. It goes deeper into the ambient realms with spacious textures and tribal rhythms with some soft ethereal vocals. I hope you enjoy the journey. I hope everyone's holiday was excellent and you were able to enjoy great times with great friends. I wanted to thank all who came out in support of my CD release party back on Nov 18th. It was a great showing of people to come and chill and listen to some fine ambient music. Included in the program was DJ DFTram, vocalist M Mara Ann, guitar player Travis Ortiz, and violinist Emily Palen. It was a great time had by all. I was also invited to dj at a friends party the day after Thanksgiving, it was called ANEW.... and it was great. Thanks to all who came out to that as well. It was a pleasure to play the chill lounge for a early Saturday morning chill set. Well now it's time to tell you what's going on in ambientPORTAL NEWS. Right now working on some new material with vocalist Jill Shaw, and hopefully working with M Mara Ann again on some songs, and Emily Palen with some of her fine violin playing. lot's of ideas running in my head right now on how I would like the new CD to sound. Working on the CD artwork and booklet, trying to figure out the best way to have a eco-friendly CD package with all of the artwork and see how much that will set me back, but I feel it's important to try to work on something like this and as an artist help the environment along the way. Also up right now on my webiste......www.ambientportalmusic.com is the *NEW* video for Luminous. The concept of the video is that "the spirit" played by M Mara Ann, is talking to me in a dream and sending me the music that is heard in Luminous.
