When I first knew of Asherah it was through our connection with Mystery Sisters. Finally the time came when we danced together in the magical cauldron of fire, ritual and tribe. What struck me right away about Asherah is the power in which she carried herself as a woman, priestess and vessel of spirit. Truly she walks in beauty and is a conduit of the Goddess. Then I heard her speak to the many one early dawn and my devotion for her grew. I have a high regard for people who can open the hearts with a voice that speaks truth. From her memory she was able to recite poetry and stories that held us all in acute presence. But as SarahLuna says Asherah can also kick ass and one of my favorite memories of her will always be embodying Kali round the fire. Watch out. She is definitely of things wild.

This woman is a force of nature, plain and simple. She does't do anything half-assed, and I admire her for that.
