Well, I'm your typical tree huggin, dirt worshiping kind of person, except I bathe and can laugh at myself. I go to school part time, and work full time in a sign shop (don't ask me what I do there, my tasks take up three pages or more). Eventually I'd like to be able to afford to go to school full time and work part time. I'm an aspiring art teacher. I'd rather do that then anything else. But who knows what the future will bring. I am a constantly changing being, which is why I don't really like "about me" sections. Because I don't think a paragraph could describe anyone.

Are You Into Foreign Films?
A movie that mine and my roommate's company produced is being screened in Beverly Hills for a week, we're trying to fill the seats as much as possible:

BM ticket for sale
Yup. Cannot get the full time off of work for the burn. *shrugs* While I'm disappointed. If I had to make a choice six months ago between going to the burn or having a job that I enjoy, working with people I enjoy, and making decent money while I'm at it, plus moving into a new apartment that I LOVE I would stick with the job/apartment. Because, there's always next year.

Look ahead to a world bright and new.
I need something shiny. I've been so out of touch with various communities and people in the past couple years it's depressing. I wish that I could go to all the events, unfortunately work and finances make that very much not the case. I want to dance, I want to jump around, I want to play, I want to love.

R.I.P. John Alvin
I'm just going to link the tribute that Clark wrote to Ain't It Cool News.

John Alvin passed away last Wednesday.

I can guarantee everyone of you has seen his artwork in movie theatres, video stores and the like. But I'd be surprised if most of you knew his name. I got the chance to meet him last May, and he couldn't have been a more joyful and humble person. He was someone who had such a passion that was conveyed so elegantly through his artwork.
