so I get this friend request on myspace today from some guy I've never heard of, and don't know who we have in common. in his profile, I find that he lists skrewdriver in his favorite music section. so I wrote to him:

why would you send a friend request to somebody you don't know?
and not fer nuthin - but yer inclusion of skrewdriver in yer music section ain't the type of thing to make me want to say "oh boy, a friend request from a white supremist - it must be my lucky day!"

him:
no white supremist here i just like their older music, im not a political person, i listen to alot of shit that i don't agree with politically.

in my book, that's a form of politics you don't have the luxury of ignoring. so their first album isn't white power - so what? the rest of their albums are (and they've got quite a few) and that's what listing them in yer favorites says about you, whether you like it or not. think on this:

like I said, it's what advertising them on yer preference list says about you as a person.

everyone's entitled to their opinion and i don't care who likes me or not. I just added you cuz i thought u were xxxx and i met xxxx a few times and knew his bro. goodnite pal!
