Oh good god, I chose to not snort in the new year in concerted attempt to be responsible after a Christmas meltdown...I got myself in so much more trouble with ONLY alcohol...don't do it kids.

New Year's 2003/2004 the fools across my street were popping an automatic SKS into the air next to my girlfriend's car - the girlfriend was not amused, thinking that her new car would somehow be damaged. After 20 minutes of her freaking out and preparing to get dressed to go out and start screaming at the coked out and drunken Eastside Vice Lords involved, which she actually would have done. She refused to be convinced this was a bad idea, so I had to get dressed and hold forth a conversation with half a dozen stumbling drunken cheeseballs, most holding various pistols, rifles, joints and/or bottles of malt liquor, about how much longer they might be celebrating, and how my lady had to be at work the next day. They were suprisingly cool about the whole thing and we ended up negotiating down to 15 more minutes of gunfire, so they could finish off a cheap box of ammo. I was also offered a hit of what I assumed was Schlitz Malt Liquor (accepted) and copious advice on how to not let that bitch take charge. Fine fellows, all. You'll miss that gunfire when it's gone. |

I hung out w/ my sister & her 12 year old daughter.
we went up to the 'mountains' of North Georgia and at midnight, beat a bunch of pots & pans at the bottom of the driveway (a creekside cabin in the woods) all the neighbors starting flipping their outside lights on and coming to the windows and doors to see what was going on, and i was like... IT'S 2006 MOTHER FUCKERS!!!! jeez. you'd think that hangin' out in the mountains of north georgia - you'd hear a gunfire or two, but nooooo.... |
