Tonight, I'm running again in the Trannyshack Drag Races, the first in nearly 4 years! I hold the dubious honor of being the winner of the last DR from Sept 11, 2001 (something else happened on that date, I think...), where viewers to the race were heard to have said "Look at the little one go! She must have rockets in her boots!" It was, I think, my third or fourth time at Trannyshack. I'll be wearing the very same 2001-winning rocketboots tonight.

I live a charmed life with colorful and vibrant people. I grew up with an appreciation for the absurd and a gentle nature. Somewhere along the way I got a little wicked. I've got a sharp tongue but a soft heart, which I've had handed back to me in the past so I'm cautious with it (the heart, not the tongue... still working on being cautious with that! :P)... but I try to live and love with grace. Sometimes I lose myself in the details, other times in the vista. My favorite words are "sanguine", "swimmingly" and "plate techtonics". I hate spiders because they look so good in black: I believe the feeling is mutual. I don't think optimism is the same as naivete. I believe so very strongly that perception is reality/ that we make our own worlds, and I think I've made a few good ones for myself. I fall gracefully.
