I've already mentioned Gook: John McCain's Racism and Why It Matters here before. The book is writer Irwin Tang's examination of Senator McCain's history of racism, and not just the "I hate gooks" remark, but throughout his career and associations. Horror Movie + Opera + Rock + Fucked Up Futuristic Setting = WIN! How could I NOT see this? Not to mention, I'm going with some of my delightfully twisted friends. Double win! 
There are not words for me to describe how pleased I am to see that Obama is the President Elect. I am proud that I could be alive to participate in this election and be part of this great moment in U.S. political history.
