G BLOG 24k

The Bear is the keeper of the dream time, and stores the teachings of dreams until the dreamer wakes up to them. Many tribes have called this space of inner-knowing the Dream Lodge, where the death of the illusion of physical reality overlays the expansiveness of eternity. It is in the Dream Lodge that our ancestors sit in Council and advise us regarding alternative pathways that lead to our goals.
If you like bears, you should maybe look into some books on interpreting dreams; especially if you're a heavy dreamer. If you need a lot of sleep, it may be Bear working. This female receptive energy, for centuries has allowed visionaries, mystics, and shamans to prophesy.

The strength of Bear medicine is the power of introspection. Bear is not one to make snap decisions, nor one to ramrod or force into any position. Bear takes in all available information, takes it into his quiet place, studies that information carefully, gives it careful thought for a while, and then reaches his own informed decisions based on the facts at hand. Bear is the one who says, "I have to think about this. I'll be in touch later." You can rely on opinions coming from a Bear person as being well thought out and thorough, and based on the facts given. To accomplish the goals and dreams that we carry, the art of introspection is necessary.

Bear is a fierce warrior, especially when protecting their young. They appear to be lumbering and slow, but can have lightning speed when threatened. They love fish when they can get it, but they also eat berries, honey, etc. Bear people like home and shelter, and like to be warm and cozy.

With Bear Medicine, the power of knowing has invited you to enter the silence and become acquainted with the Dream Lodge, so that your goals may become concrete realities. This is the strength of Bear.

Journey with Bear to the quietness of your cave and hibernate in silence. Dream your dreams and own them. Then in strength you will be ready to discover the honey waiting in the Tree of Life.

Keep going

When you've reached the goal you've chosen for yourself, set your sights on an even higher objective. And keep going.

When things have not worked out the way you planned, learn the valuable lessons that the experience has to offer. And keep going.

The key to meaningful achievement is not in how clever you are or how lucky you are or in how much advantage you can gain over others. The key is to keep going.

When other people give you encouragement, insight and assistance, thank them for their help while offering your own special value to in return. And keep going.

When others seek to block your every effort, raise yourself up to where you can clearly see beyond their petty, shortsighted attempts. And keep going.

Whatever may come or go or happen or fail to happen, there is always a way, some way or another, to keep going. You will get wherever you wish to go when you consistently choose, in each moment, to simply, thankfully and gracefully keep going

A white buffalo calf has been born on a Wisconsin farm. This is the 3rd white buffalo to be born on this farm. The odds of the birth of a white buffalo are at least one in a million so I wonder what the odds of one being born on the same farm 3 times? Something like 1 in 1,000,000 cubed?

The white buffalo is sacred to American Indian tribes such as the Cheyenne, Sioux, and other tribes from the Northern Plains. They relied on the buffalo for much of what they needed to survive. Legend tells of a white buffalo appearing to 2 men while disguised as a woman wearing white hides. One of the men treated her with respect while the other man did not. The latter was turned into a pile of bones while the first received a pipe. The woman taught his people ritual and music. She promised to return after turning into a female white buffalo calf.

This current calf is a white male buffalo and a medicine man from the Oglala Sioux Tribe says that this means "men need to take responsibility for their families."

It is believed that the white buffalo will "reunite the races of man and restore balance to the world" Although nothing is said of the significance of a series of white buffalo calves being born and on a single farm one has to wonder what it might be?

What's done
What's done is done. The time and energy you spend complaining about it will get you nothing but a lot of frustration and negativity.
What's happened has happened. Instead of looking back, fretting and arguing about why or how or who is at fault, look forward and consider all the positive possibilities that are available to you.

If you've been wronged, don't seek revenge. Seek success, seek achievement, seek fulfillment, seek to take what has happened and turn it into a positive force in your life.

Spend your time and energy not in looking back, but in looking ahead. For that is where you can make a difference.

Learn from what has happened, allow it to inspire and motivate you in a positive way, and then choose to move forward. See the value in the way things are at this moment, and see how you can make full use of that value.

Let go of your attachment to what has already happened. And make room in your life to create the very best that can be.
