...and change is definitely in the air.....

blooms, blooms, blooms everywhere.....and rain, rain, rain continuously, or so it seems......we've needed the rain so i'm not complaining, but honestly, if it does'nt stop soon, tristan is going to get lost out in the back yard cause the grass is gonna be over his head.....our hopes of getting a riding lawn mower were aborted because i can't extend my home depot credit that much (and secretly i was kinda glad)...so it looks like we'll be paying someone again this year to mow.....

we just had to buy a new dishwasher last week (which is still sitting in the box in the middle of the dining room/craft room......who knows when or if randy will get it installed.....the old one had leaked under the sink and i had to take everything out from there and throw it away....as a nurse, i have smelled many foul odors in my day, but nothing compares to the black sludge that was beneath that sink....

little things that made me feel better in the last couple of weeks.......i went to visit 'bo-pup', the dog who lived next door to me when i lived in my apartment.....he has moved to and i called his owner to see if i could come visit him......it was a joyful reunion......
i got a letter from one of my oldest and dearest friends, michelle....she included photos of her 3 year old (whom i have never met), but who is named 'bailey' after me.....it was wonderful hearing from her....hopefully we will have a get together soon....

....if i ever get a break from working, that is.......

jackie, the other nurse i work with, has found another job working in a doctor's office.......she is still going to work our case on weekends (which is great for me), but that leaves me working 5 days a week, 12 hour shifts, until they can find someone else to work there one night a week.....right now i can sure use the overtime, but i don;t know how my body and mind will handle the long days/long hours......we'll see i guess......

and that's my peacefully boring life on mill creek at the moment......

today is my precious ponger's 4th birthday!!!! my sweet little april fool...............

what a joy and blessing she continues to be to me......and i...still....look at her every day and can't believe she's actually with me....and mine................
