Auralynne is so very talented!!! I bought 2 pairs of flare pants from her and they are gorgeous and so well made. (And this is coming from a fellow experienced seamstress!) . With my odd shaped body I can never find 'off the rack' pants that fit so I was excited when I read that Auralynne makes all her pants custom to fit your body. And, they really are customized for MY body.
Here's the reality of the situation... I could have made my own pants... customized the size to fit me and do all of the trial and error involved with getting it right. But, I just haven't had the time lately. So, I put my fabric in her hands and she came through with flying colors!
I'm so impressed with the quality of her pants and the professionalism she has.
Not to mention, I'm glad to now call her a friend! I can't wait til we meet in person!

I ordered a cascading hairpiece, and received it in a matter of days....very beautiful, very well made. I just told her the colors of my costume and hair and let her do whatever where the colors were concerned....it turned out gorgeous, and I had so many compliments on it the first time I performed in it.

Just received my tribal flower headband and I LOVE it! The falls and flowers are gorgeous. Auralynne is so creative. And the quality is fantastic! I could hardly believe how fast I received it too! I am super impressed and my new hairband is the envy of my troupe! Thank you so much!

ok, so i don't know auralynne. never even met her in my life. but i've ordered stuff from her, and each and every time:
the quality of craftmanship is excellent,
materials are sturdy,
the prices are affordable,
orders arrive to me within days of payment, and
any dumb questions/concerns i have are promply and effectively answered.
but i've never met the woman. i can't gauge her personality, her friendliness, ect.... but i know she makes and delivers some FANTASTIC stuff. and THAT, is enough to for me to testify for her.

Oh my goodness! I JUST got the clip she made for me and it is absolutely GORGEOUS! Her artistic eye is beautiful, it will go great with any costume, and it is SO affordable! Shipping was fantastic, I was kept extremely informed, SO fast shipping. I will so be going broke from this girl! Thank you so much! The falls and of course the clip are beautiful!

If you haven't figured it out yet or don't know me, bellydance is my life! I design and create all types of costumes - sew, do bead embroidery, etc. I sell custom flowered headdresses among other things on my website. Well, the situation I spoke of in my previous blog is completely resolved - even better than I expected. Erny removed the corset pants from her ebay store (even though I told her it was fine to keep this one pair up - apparently she wasn't planning on making them permanently but just wanted to use up the last bit of fabric.) And she is changing the design of the headband to make it less like mine - the new design will be up once the old headbands are sold.

*Ahem* I mean a crafter was perhaps inspired by my costumes and went off to design something similar... Or maybe it was just coincidence that she happened to design a headband, with cowrie shells, one of the exact India jewelry pieces I've put in a cascade before, and with flowers and hair falls positioned exactly where I position them on my headband hairpiece. Tristan's teething, so I'm trying to work on the remaining orders, and deal with a fussy, drooling, not sure whether he'd rather suck on or chew on my hand, baby, and my sewing machine breaks! Well, he's sitting in my lap sleeping and making funny baby noises as I type this - It'd be cute if I didn't know this means he's not gonna sleep tonight at all... We're trying to get him to sleep at night but it's difficult when nothing will wake him up during the day (including cold wet hands on his head)! But I'm very happy to have traded in the gigantic belly for a gigantic baby... :-D
