Body: It's that time of year again! The Fort Tryon Park Medieval Festival (AKA the Cloisters Ren Faire) is happening this Sunday, September 28, from 11 AM – 6 PM. I'll be there, rain or shine, in full armor as part of the SCA demo of medieval swordfighting. Sometimes ... when you are happy ... no one sees your smile ... . . . ....But .... ya fart just once......  I'm scheduled to go in for surgery on Tuesday. I'm going to have an optirectomy. The purpose of this delicate operation, I'm told, is to sever the connection between my optic nerve and my rectum, and hopefully get rid of my shitty outlook on life. wish me luck!
