<div>

a few hours ago i posted
(or so i thought)
a happy muther's day listing
and i am surprised to discover now
that it may not be published

so here goes again . . .

yeah, it's that important to me
and no, i didn't save a copy of the original submission
so who knows what i said the 1st time around

ironically this is the day that more phone calls are placed on this planet
than any other so-called holiday
and yet
it will most likely be the day in which i do not
speak with those i love on the phone
also, it strikes me as humorous that i updated my profile with my theme song just yesterday

may your day
YOUR EVERY DAY
be filled with live-giving, nuturing, devouring
motherly protecting
of that which is fruit-full and fertile

sometimes that is found in silence*

love,
aurelia

* initially, i thought of doing a mass tribe invitation
to "theeveryoneontribetribe," with this mother's day
greeting embedded therein... and noticed that those
broadcasts can only be done in threes... so... thank yew,
red heads of the world unite, fur the ID'er

    </a>
										<div>wean yourself ~

little by little, wean yourself
this is the gist of what i have to say.

from the embryo, whose nourishment comes in the blood
move to an infant drinking milk,
to a child on solid food,
to a searcher after wisdom,
to a hunter of more invisible game.

think of how it is to have a conversation with an embryo.
you might say, "the world outside is vast and intricate.
there are wheatfields and mountain passes,
and orchards in bloom.

at night, there are millions of galaxies, and in sunlgiht
the beauty of friends dancing at a wedding."

you ask the embryo why he, of she, stays cooped up
in the dark with eyes closed.

listen to the answer.

there is no "other world."
i only know what i've experienced.
you must be hallucinating.

I do not like anything the way I
like you in your underwear I like you
and in your party clothes o my in your
party clothes and with nothing on at all
you do not need to wear a thing at all
for me to like you and you may talk or
not talk I like you either way nothing
makes me feel so nearly at home on Earth
as just to be with you and say nothing.

    </a>
<div>One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, 'How was the trip?'

'It was great, Dad.'

'Did you see how poor people live?' the father asked.

'Oh yeah,' said the son.

'So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?' asked the father.

The son answered:

'I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, 'Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.'

. . .

isn't perspective wonderful?

thanks, darlis &amp; james, for this email . . .

i so appreciate everything . . .

    </a>
<div>i am tortured by my crippling indecision...

any day now . . .

"The urge to transform one's appearance, to dance outdoors, to mock the powerful and embrace perfect strangers is not easy to suppress . . .

The capacity for collective joy is encoded into us almost as deeply as the capacity for the erotic love of one human for another.

We can live without it, as most of us do, but only at the risk of succumbing to the solitary nightmare of depression.

Why not reclaim our distinctively human heritage as creatures who generate their own ecstatic pleasures out of music, color, feasting, and dance . . .

There is no 'point' to it -- no religious overtones, ideological
message, or money to be made -- just the chance, which we need much more of on this crowded planet, to acknowledge the miracle of our simultaneous existence with some sort of celebration."

										<div>Moondance ~
~ Van Morrison

Well it's a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
You know the night's magic
Seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight
Seems to shine in your blush...

Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love?
Can I just make some more romance with a' you, my love?

Well I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait till the morning has come
And I know now the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true dear
There and then I will make you my own
And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that, you can't hide...

Can I just have one more moondance with you, my love?
Can I just make some more romance with you, my love?

Well it's a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies

In the moonlight
On a magic night

<div>“The ability to fetch a wonderful thought from the universe (just like you pluck a beautiful flower from the garden) and to care about it long enough and to pay it undivided attention such that whoever is the recipient of the thought (be it your partner, your child, your parents or your friend) immediately from that point on feels damn good even if he or she is miles away from you. This is the secret of True Love… This is the way relationships grow and blossom into a full blown rose flower... Strength does not lie in licking a woman's breast; even a stray dog can do that. Strength is always the power of a beautiful thought not the domination of the muscle. The strength of a muscle can break a dozen bones but it cannot travel beyond a certain distance. A glorious thought however can travel leap years ahead, beyond continents and beyond the realm of time and space. It can deliver messages at lightening speed and can rebuild a million lives and bring smile to humanity. It is that powerful… Attention to a caring or authentic thought is what is love. Every other thing is a stray dogs meal.” ---clipped from John Harricharan email

(of course, having one's breasts licked is not a bad thing)

when art &amp; music are ON

    </a>
<div>". . . Here's another thing: time is the fourth dimension. What we've discovered is that we measure what we think of as everyday life, the time that we're spending right now, as I'm talking to you... is that this time is the biological cyclical time. When we say where is time located? You can't find it, see it, or touch it. You can see space. You can smell it or whatever. Time is a whole other thing. Time is of the mind. When we're actually living in natural time then our mind is released into its natural dimension: the fourth dimension. The third dimension is the dimension of space. The fourth dimension is the dimension of time and the mind. That is where all art comes from and that is where all art takes you. You know like if you're listening to music or playing music. If you're playing music, then you go right out there. You know where you're going and that's the fourth dimension. That's where you are.

Also, there is a relationship between natural time and telepathy. Time is the frequency of synchronization. That's another thing about the moment of the calendar change - to synchronize as many human beings as possible in a single moment and then have them take the next step in a new time. So the synchronization factor is very important. That's like when you're at a concert, or whatever, when the music is hot and it's on . . . "

										<div>
yesterday i drew the Innocence card which is explained to me in part as ". . . the innocence that comes from a deep experience of life is childlike, but not childish. the innocence of children is beautiful, but ignorant. it will be replaced by mistrust and doubt as the child grows and learns that the world can be a dangerous and threatening place. but the innocence of a life lived fully has a quality of wisdom and acceptance of the ever-changing wonder of life . . ."

this morning i received (and i do mean received as in frosting on the cake) "The Intender's Bridge--Step 80," which goes like this:

"The world you live in is splitting apart. The old selfish ways are collapsing and, at the same time, the new spiritual ways are emerging, heralding a better life for all.

Remember when you were a child and everything was bright and new? As you began to explore your world you looked around at all of the adults and wondered why they acted like they did. They did so many strange things that were making them unhappy.

Later on, as you grew in size and age, choices about what is real and what isn't presented themselves to you, and you told yourself that, for a time, you would play with certain illusions. You knew down deep in your heart that many of the things you believed in were not the truth, but you came to be enamored with them anyway. They made life in society easier for you because everyone else was also believing in the same illusions - illusions about the nature of ownership, time, what groups you identify with; who you really are, and so forth. These were the things that were so clear to you when you were a child. You knew they were untrue, but you decided that someday you would set these games and illusions aside when they were no longer useful to you.

The interesting point to all of this is that when the time came to discard these games or illusions as no longer useful, we found ourself continuing to use them anyway. We didn't seem to be able to stop using them. Oh, sometimes we'd catch ourself and we'd know that what we just said or did wasn't true, but nobody else seemed to notice, and life just went on and the years went by. There would be moments when we were sure that it was time to put all of these illusions away and return to the truth and innocence we knew so well when you were young. These moments began to come closer and closer together and we ran into others who were also talking about putting aside these same illusions which no longer served them.

And now, we're beginning to realize that our whole life must come into its integrity if we are to evolve and be happy. Our whole being cries out for truth. We catch ourself every time we speak falsely or argue on behalf of our illusions - and we pay a high price to continue as we have done for years. Those who require us to uphold our illusions in order to remain agreeable and friendly are clearly not on the same path as us. We intend freedom. We intend peace. We intend our environment clean and beautiful. And we intend true happiness - the happiness we knew as a child."

i change easily
i die daily
so as to be in childlike happiness
