ancient serpent mound
leaving tomorrow for a healing oddessy at the serpent mound - eye had an adventure there in april and will return this time for three days of seichim, crystal healing, gridding, laying on of stones, hypnosis, drumming, and other fall equinox ceremonial games and fun. eye love the outdoors and new stuff! then it's on to the idaho mountains for a winter sabbatical (eye'll post a blog on that if eye donut get kicked off again!) ~ aurelia

it's a 1330-foot-long, three-foot-high prehistoric effigy earthwork - largest in the world - located in adams county, ohio, usa, believed to have been built by an ancient american indian culture about 1070 CE for calendar & ceremony purposes... all sorts of "cosmic/spiritual energy" there... maintained within a park by the ohio historical society (who are close friends of my best friend who lives in virginia and visits at least twice/year for his own rituals)... eye went last spring and fall... may return at the end of next month... ross hamilton is THE MAN, the expert on its energies, history, and all manner of its mysteries (eye believe he has books and videos published on it)... gives one heck of a presentation on it, 4-sure... (enough to MAKE YOU wanna visit it!)...
