After a long vacation from the SCA, and bellydancing I am back. I won't be at Muddslide, but will be returning to class right after that. I am really looking forward to hanging out again with my dance sisters and the friends I have.

Okay, so not only was it a crappy day at you-know-what, but to top it all off I had a dental appointment at 2:45, originally it was scheduled for 3:00 but the receptionist called to see if I could come in 15 minutes early so they can get a new patient in that was going in for surgery next week. So, I rush to the dentist office and I am there right at 2:45, from the time that I arrived until I was called back, 2 patients arrived and went back for their appointments. At 3:15 I was finally called back, the hygienist was not happy when she found out that I was asked to come in 15 minutes early, evidently she was not informed of the appointment change. Once the cleaning was done, the dentist examined 3 teeth that the peridontist was concerned with and thought I had cavities, fortunately no cavities, but the dentist did drill the 3 teeth and put sealants in them due to having deep recesses and did not want them to get cavities. So, I walk out of the dentist office 2 hours later, mouth numb and not in any better mood than when I arrived.

Was really great. Raffa taught a drum solo to the same music as Siham's short drum. Same music, different choreography which under normal circumstances wouldn't be too bad, however, we just happened to be performing the short drum that evening. So, whenever the music started during the workshop I had to stop myself from dancing Siham's drum solo.....Talk about confusion. We stayed at the same hotel that the workshop was being held and it wasn't too bad, the room was kinda small for 4 people, the beds weren't as comfortable, but we did have fun and we met some wonderful people, including Raffa.

Okay, so I am home from Lilies, peeling like crazy from the sunburn that I received on that first Friday while setting up. The house looks like a tornado hit it with all of the rubbermaids laying about, but they are getting slowly unpacked. Had a blast.
