This character is absolute GOLD.
I KNOW I have known him for a couple of lifetimes but it has just been recently that we met physically on this plane. He is very thought provoking, incredibly deep, so connective, laughs wholeheartedly and hugs without any inhibitions. I LOVE you, Azure!!! Thank you for being here in my life.

I’ve been both chastised and lovingly prodded this week to get some communication out, so here goes…

A very dear friend, whom I haven’t talked to either, just posted a blog themed around the release of mourning accompanied by thankfulness that, in my belief, is a key aspect to living a happily and fully as we were meant to. While she may be puzzled as to why her review of the past year comes in November rather than the more conventional December/January mileposts, this month has me looking... read more
I’ve been forced to stay in bed for more than a week due to a wicked intestinal dysfunction that lead to an involuntary cleansing lasting several days. Sequoiah was my patron Goddess throughout and I’m on my way back, ready to start dealing with some of the issues facing us.

A summer rain is gently falling through the leaves of a forest outside the open door that invites a breeze, smelling of moss and wood, caressing me with a moist coolness and stirring tendrils of incense smoke. I’m surrounded by walls of wavy glass panes, bundles of dried herbs, feathers and all manor of whimsy, halfway between the ground and a canopy of hardwoods sheltering a heavy gray sky.

Things have taken a dramatic turn for the better this week. Sean bought the house I found through working with a realtor recommended by a friend of Sequoiah’s, and he’s allowed us to park here for the time being while we take care of some work that needs to be done around the property. It’s a strange amalgam of styles, ranging from late 1800’s to Tim Burton Gothic with a master bedroom right out of Miami Vice. It has a circular cobblestone drive and a carriage house with six bays and a ornat...

More than six months after my last 9 to 5 workday, this day, marks two months in Minneapolis. Changes that began two and a half years ago with Laura’s departure, have brought me to the parking lot of an abandoned church, sitting on my couch in a ‘57 Greyhound bus named Serenity. The breadth and depth of the changes astonish me sometimes, so much so, that I forget to be grateful for the blessings and gifts that have poured over me as I’ve begun to follow this path of ... read more
