Nita Little develops, choreographs, performs, and teaches improvisational dance and has for the past thirty-four years. She participated in explorations with Steve Paxton that became Contact Improvisation in 1972 and has been a creative force in its emergence ever since. She teaches locally in California and yearly tours worldwide. Through CI she discovered her abiding interest in the evolution of consciousness and the mind/body continuum. She has developed and taught the Mind in Motion, a movement curriculum, since the early eighties. www.nitalittle.com
