Just a Few Words
(blog entry)
I've been in Grand Rapids for more than four years now. As I sit and reflect on those four years I realize that it's been a weird time in my life. Love, loss and the stresses of both have come at me from every angle in this town. It seems as th...

Spewing Coffee Out My Nose at 5:30 in the Morning
(blog entry)
Here I sit, drinking coffee, getting ready for school and watching the news. Channel 13 is doing a bunch of stuff about the new art museum. Part of that coverage included someone saying how the new museum "fits well in the downtown area". I sho...

School Daze
(blog entry)
School hasn't even started yet and my brain is ready to explode. Due to some bad dentistry and the following infection, I spent most of the last week at home curled up with my textbooks. Hopefully this will help. I know more native history righ...

Merry Christmas
(blog entry)
The photo is from the Christmas card that Yamaha sent out this year. The following text is the small print from the photo. It's a disclaimer and I thought it was rather amusing. Merry Christmas.
Sleighs with engine sizes over 90,000cc or gre...

Some Thoughts on 9/11
(blog entry)
I realize I'm a couple of days late on this. However, I really needed to take some time to really think about things. That said, on with the thoughts.
I'm none to happy with ABC television. Thier little two night mini series is going to be d...

I've been in Grand Rapids for more than four years now. As I sit and reflect on those four years I realize that it's been a weird time in my life. Love, loss and the stresses of both have come at me from every angle in this town. It seems as though it's been one failure after another in my time here. The latest example which I am prepared to discuss here is school. At this point I wonder what I was thinking. I'm not ready for school at all. I really don't want to be there for several r...

Part of that coverage included someone saying how the new museum "fits well in the downtown area". I shot coffee out my nose when I heard that. Does this person have eyes? It's an eyesore. It took away from the downtown area in my opinion. Not to mention that it's done in that whole trendy modern architecture style. I don't think it will hold up o...

School hasn't even started yet and my brain is ready to explode. Due to some bad dentistry and the following infection, I spent most of the last week at home curled up with my textbooks. Hopefully this will help. I know more native history right now than I'll probably remember after the semester is over. Criminology should be fun. Interesting book anyway. The architecture thing I pretty much left alone. Probably due to the fact that the course packet has yet to arrive at the bookstore....

Sleighs with engine sizes over 90,000cc or greater are recommended for use only by mythical figures. Yamaha recommends all riders take an approved supersonic-sleigh training course. For safety and training information, see your Yamaha dealer or call the Holiday Safety Institute at 1-800-HOL-IDAY...

I'm none to happy with ABC television. Thier little two night mini series is going to be digested by the unwashed masses as the truth. I realize they ran disclaimers stating that not all the events depicted were true. The sheeple of the world won't remember the disclaimers and will proclaim the falsehoods portrayed in said telepic as go...
