By good thoughts and by good ideas, you will become a saadhu. Saadhu does not mean one who merely wears an orange robe, shaves the head and wears Rudhraakshas (holy beads). He who has good thoughts and good ideas is a saadhu. A saadhu is one who is a Sathya Sankalpa Swaruupa (embodiment of truthful thoughts)." -Hindu Scholarly Texts
Now, I do not claim to have attained such a higher state of consciousness for more than a loose aggregate of fleeting moments, but the name "saadhu" reminds me of those precious glimpses and infinite possibilities, acts as a reminder and gives me something towards which I can aspire. Plus, it conjuers memories of Nepal & India and the days, weeks and months spent wandering in search of instant karma and dreaming of past lives.

Last Event Before Our Summer Hiatus! This will be the last Bass Ritual before we take the summer off for travel, full moon gatherings and Burningman. Bass Ritual will return in September, but this Friday we are gonna kick out the bass one last time to officially start the summer season.
