Eli is a sweetheart and a great, great host. He does however drive like a maniac and I wont forget being pulled over by a mexican cop after his erratic driving and having to pay a bribe to get out of (well actually he paid, I was broke). That was of course one day after he managed to strand us on a rock on a beach beacuse he was too busy lighting a fag (cigarette) to watch where he was going. Ah, it wasnt that bad, it was an adventure, in hindsight, a fun one :) He is a true friend and a great guy and is no where near as innocent as he looks in his pic.

I just met Mr. Vedagiri today and already he has me perplexed, interested and amused! Though I have never met him before today, I have such a good energy about him that I am going to take off with him to San Francisco tonight. Afterall, he is a fellow burner!! I am, I believe......well I should say I think (of late in keeping with the convergence of philosophy and linguistics I am attempting to quit using the word 'beieve' as I don't think I believe in anything-in the realm of knowledge and belief), fun, outgoing, sincere, and casual in conduct, style, and demeanor. I am philosophical in nature and sort of subscribe to the 'Zero Sum' theory of existence, as borrowed from economics! Quite global in outlook and aspire to John Lennon's view of "Imagine"! I have been living on a boat at the Marriott marina downtown and just love it (ok........broke down and did get a house Jan 09.......to live part time but guess what........ its as Burneresque as it can be........located atop a hill in North County-Rainbow amidst 6 acres of all kinds of fruit trees....120+ Avocado trees.....Burnerville). And........I totally dig the 'here and now'......in the realm of existentialism!
When enamored, indulge in creating sonnets to capture the essence of living. Would love to embark on a voyage to exotic islands of fabled mountains and streams, flowers and fruits, to see those species where creation meets evolution! Working on it! Oh.......I am an environmental engineer by profession and academic background.......though I love my job and what I do...........it still is what it is.........a vocation! Hmmmmmm...........Lucky 7...................this was my seventh Burn....and like my friends have known me to say after each Burn.........yeah, I had so much fun I am not sure if I want to go next year!

Whew! Bought a bike, rode up to Sturgis, camped for a week, and had an adventurous return back........WHAT A BLAST!!
