about me
I love Bellydancing. I teach regular weekly classes in Devon and Cornwall, I have also hosted many workshops and Hafla's.. I started bellydancing 10-11 years ago originally mainly interested in Egyptian Style Bellydance. I have travelled to Egypt many times taking workshops in Cairo, Slept in the Desert under the stars with a few dear friends...... and danced with the Bedoin women until my long hair was dripping wet!. 4-5 years ago i discovered American Tribal Style Bellydance FCBD style and i have recently completed my Teacher Training in this format with Carolena Nerricio the founder of Fat Chance Bellydance which was a wonderful expererience.
I am so blessed to be able to dance with all the beautiful women who have come to my classes over the years - they are all so special and put their own unique mark on this dance. I have made many dear friends through bellydancing. I could not imagine my life without this beautiful art form. You never stop learnin............ Work Like You Don't Need the Money.......I'm still workin on this one! Love Like You've Never Been Hurt ...........Sometimes Easier said than done - but i keep trying! Dance Like No One's Watching You ..... :-)

learnt a lot from finally seeing ourselves on video, loads and loads to work on and improve, but we enjoyed it :-) www.youtube.com/watch .
These are me new ruffles handmade by my friend Iah Michel and totally inspired by Kathleen Crowley. They are really special to me as some of the lace and other bits of fabric have been recycled from my wedding dress. I just love them and can't wait to dance in them. thanks a million iah for doing such a great job. J xxx

This was a really last minute workshop to fit in with Sam's busy schedule. What a fab afternoon, i enjoyed it so much. and i might have finally cracked Beledi on the go! Yay! Loved the way Sam broke it all down, as i know lots of dancers find playing cymbals and dancing at the same time a real challenge.
