Count down to my trip to Costa Rica. Officially one week away. I'm going to Arenal for 2 days and then on to Monteverde for another 2 days and San Jose for 1 day.
I hope to see the La Paz waterfall, take a boat trip on Lake Arenal. Spend a day on the Canopy, Suspension Bridges, and visit the Hummingbird and Butterfly farms and just relax.

I have wanted to go to Costa Rica for several years now and then I was diagnosed with Cancer which derailed my plans. But now since my treatment I'm going to live life to it's fullest. This trip signifies a full circle moment for me. In fact this day last year I had my surgery to remove my tumors. Didn't know how I would survive but I did. I think once I put one foot down on Costa Rican soil I will shout "take that cancer... you didn't get me this time...I won!".
