Protégé of Jamila Salimpour, studied from 1970 and then taught classes & workshops for her through 1981. Working Professional since 1971. Worked in SF at the Casbah, Bagdad, Greek Taverna, El Morocco,Taverna Athena, Parthanon: Toured Holiday in Greece: Minn. Georges in Fridley: Cleveland: Toured South America 4 months with Rana & Naim: Detroit area: Mykonos, Uncle Sams, Omar Khayam, Sahara (now Prestige), Mitch Hausey's. Taught workshops all over the US. Main weak point- advertising. I have performed as a dancer, singer and instrumentalist and my joy is training others. I have an extensive library including books, audios & videos going back 40 years. I am in the process of archiving the collection to be housed with Suhaila Salimpour for historical access to those who are interested. Because this is where I studied and was inspired to become an artist, it is most important to me that my roots remain firmly intact with my family.
