a little something about me...Location
about me
Spent several years, working abroad and on boats, sailing the Caribbean and leading outdoor adventures. I studied ecological ethnobotany and sustainable business at both UH Manoa and UMass Amherst. I am now living in southern NH working for an organic personal care company during the winter months and spending my summer months in Cape Cod.

I just returned home from a fantastic trip in Mexico! Chris and I decided to take an extended vacation of surfing and beachcombing in the tropics as a late honeymoon. We had an amazing time throughout all of our travels, ending in Sayulita at a beautiful villa with the excellent company of a few of our closest friends! Now, after having our fill of surf, sunshine, fish tacos, and margaritas, we are back home in Shutesbury, MA gearing up for another semester of hard work.

The last week or so has been outstanding! Starting with a very long weekend in Mexico with fire dancing on the beach, late nights out at palm frond thatched, sandy floored beach bars with good friends and margaritas...Chris and I will be going back to Mexico for six weeks over December and January, let me know if you want to meet up at the beach. Mexico has great beaches and consistently good food!! I do love tortillas:)

Enjoying a little warmth on a blustery morning in Cape Cod. The power went out, so we had to heat our lunch over the fire:) Yummy! I love doing stuff like that! Summer is around the corner, but it's not quite here yet. Note the striped bass made out of chrome car bumpers above the fire place...

I can’t wait to go fishing and of course see my fiancé again!:)! Despite the environmental ramifications of the ocean being over fished etc, I have to admit there is not much I love more than going out fishing in the Cape Cod Bay and catching a big striped bass that I get to take home, fillet, cook or make into ceviche, and eat!
