My Ponderances

Looking for someone with or without kids to watch my two boys (ages 5 and 9) in our home (downtown) or yours.

*Must be state licensed to get paid- price negotiable
*Must be available from 6:30 pm Monday thru Thursday and possible Sunday afternoons-noon to 7pm
*must have references!

Willing to do trades if you are not licensed (I will watch your kids, or do bodywork...I am a student practitioner trained in massage and other various modalities of bodywork).
References still a must!!!

I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR!

My Hair
Matted and twisted in locks of gold,
To Warm and Adorn the Superior Realm of My Soul.

My Eyes
Blue, Deep and Bright,
Windows to My Souls,
From Within My Spirit Watches The World.

My Ears
Auditory Satellites, Beaming In They Listen,
To the Subtle and Obvious,
Sounds of life.

My Nose
Orrifice of Smell,
Creating Memories and Inviting the Constant Flow
Of the Breath of Life.

My Lips
Moist and Inviting,
They Greet the Outside World,

My Tounge
Muscle of Strength and Sensuousness,
Providing a Pathway to the Warmth of My Belly.
Curious and Kind.

Teeth
Protectors and Harvesters of the Bounty That is Given to All That Awaits Below.

My Shoulders
Yoke Of My Body,
Upon This Threshold Lies All Responsiblilities
Of A Mother.

My Arms
Strong But Gently
Encircling Those I Love

My Hands
Creative, Loving, Sensuous, Serving
Perceptive Receivers of Energy
Nurturing Builders of Life

My Breasts
Reservoirs of Sweet Goodness!
Warm and Comforting,
A Firm and Sensuous Mound For Pleasure.

My Heart
Deep Dark and Endlessly Pumping
the Gallons of Love I Possess

My Belly
Sea of Emotion
Ruler of All!
Procession of the Goodness I Receive

My Womb
Soft and Pliable
Channel of Life
House of Creation
Warm and Safe

My Legs
Warriors In Stance
Awaiting and Poised For Action
With

My Feet
Ready To Respond
In Action They Excel
Stallions of Speed
Adventurers of Earth

Memories of long past blissful days
where my heart fluttered
with exitement and content
grow dimmer each year.

In its place have come to reside
the thickening scars of either
that gut punching slugger
of loneliness
that eats away at your spirit
like a black hole
steadily expanding
by the minute
until the final hour
of "V"day strikes
and everyone halts
in their sweet and sappy masqerade
around their lovers!

But even worse is not the loneliness
that haunts me,
but the peircing reminder of a love
that cannot exist.

Creating a gapping wound
fully exposed
and freshly sensitive
in the light of day
while others relish
in their syrupy encounters.

Around every corner I turn,
I am met by the face
of a cynical cupid
provoking me to reveal
my grimace of pain,
aiming his glistening arrow...

(whch is ironically crowned
by the ruthless shape of a "V")

cocked and prepared to plunge
into my quivering heart,
so tenderly forsaken.

But bursting!
with love for someone
who cares nothing of my affections,
but instead
choses to careslessly abandon me
for another
on this pinnacle day of love.

How my ears ache
to hear the simple words
I have silently whispered to them
each moment we've spent together.

What ecstasy to discover
that they have cleared the selfish haze
from their eyes
to realize
my sentiment
for them
and to announce in apologetic adoration
that they are returning
back home to me
once again
for the remainder of our love affair!

But no!!
These are the foolish fantasies
of the pathetic hopeful romantic,
such as I !

So I will reside in the continuous
hardening of my heart!
when it comes
to matters of love.

I will stitch up the wound
which has been torn open
far too many times to count,
and drink another
deliciously intoxicating
shot of courage
to numb the pain.

..Until another day comes along...
and that ever so pliable heart of mine
is willing to once again expand....
even futher....
and throw forth the stones
of unforgiveness
that weigh it down....

And allow the light to leak through
that mended seam,

(which is the work of a determined taylor of love!)

freely pouring forth
the nourishing warmth
onto that sleepy and chilled
heart
that once thrived
within.

And perhaps
this time....
the heat generated from that blazing glow of love
will not be so hot!

......that it burns!!....

How delicately
lifes spirit drifts,
from the cold shell of
protection..
Flesh and bones
left behind in a lonely wooden box,
How delicately
with what departure,
there can be no hurt.

When I am old,
I shall wear no clothes,
I will roam about the serene wilderness alone.
Yet Not!
I shall disguise myself as a accomplished woman,
When I go to town.
And I'll spend all my pension on the poor,
And the endangered species,
And say "there's no money for bread!"
I shall perch upon the rooftops
When I am bored...
And mischeiviously gobble up all the berries and cheese!
In the town market.
Or niggerknock on the neighbors doors,
And let all the air out of the rich mans tires....

To make up for my wasted youth..

I will protest in front of the butchers shop,
And bomb the taxidermists...
And learn to cuss!
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me,
Are not suprised or shocked....
When suddenly,
I am old and naked and pretend to be in-sane!

Long ago as the story has been told,
Earth a promise she did behold.
The promise was gift to all earthkind.
That the day of destruction was behind.
The birth of this promise
Brought beauty again.
As the newborn earth
Began to mend.
But as time grew on,
Night turned to dawn.
Life began to take new course,
And soon the car replaced the horse.
As mankind flourished,
MotherEarth kept us nourished.
And to this day,
What is her pay!?
None.
But to her a slow death~
Which will soon be our last breath.
As we continue to greedily devour,
Our precious treasure by the hour.
Our rainforests diminished,
And were not nearly finished!
All creatures,
Great and small,
By uncountable numbers,
Continue to fall.
The earths wrath rages on with fire,
As global temperatures soar even higher.
Pollution!
Where's the solution?
Does anyone care?
What are we thinking out there?
The end is drawing near,
And what once may have appeared,
To be the most magnificent creation of all,
Will be nothing but a lifeless fiery ball.
So in mouning for the past,
And hopes to make our future last.
Together as a body of one,
Let the re-creation be begun.
And may the words "Ohm, Mane, Padme, Ohm"
Be spoken and visible to every eye,
As OUR rainbow of promise.
Shines high in the sky!

Mystical note, hidden figure,
Spirit of night, here you lie.
Stolen shadows of objects,
Are stashed beneath the blanket
Of twilights cape of darkness.
An equal balance
Between dark and light.
True mixtures of real and unreal
Solemn song of unexisting creatures,
Call out waning lures
To concrete inhabitants.
Come join us! Yes! We're here!
Lyrical cries, humming shouts,
Float numbly,
Through the dusky atmosphere
Into the realm of humanity,
Whispering fables into the ear,
Or capturing a curious glance,
The riddles of twilight,
Lie within the night.

Ascending slowly,
Into the gentle moonlight,
Looping and swirling,
In a pattern of mystery.
Followed by a lengthy tail of stardust,
It sheds its ethereal beauty,
O'er the earthly plane below.
Plunging into an eternal sea of stars,
Frolicking among castles and kingdoms
Of Light and Spirit.
Climbing higher and higher,
To reach no destination,
But to simply feel the freedom,
No ending gives.
Now in a geometrical mode,
It divides itself into millions,
Again soaring further and farther,
Now as a fleet of all journeyers,
Into the never ending darkness of light!~~

***In deep loving memory of all the beautiful souls that touched our lives and chose to leave planet earth this day, 5 years ago, I dedicate this poem to you and all yours in hope that these words may open our eyes and hearts to the magic of the fleeting moment in eternity we call "life". May you savor every moment as if it was the last and never forget to LOVE< LOVE<LOVE!!!***

If I knew it would be the last time,
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly.
And pray the Lord your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time,
That I would see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and a kiss,
And call you back for just one more.
If I knew it would be the last time,
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would tape each word and action,
And play them back throughout my days
If I knew it would be the last time,
I would spare an extra minute or two
To stop and say, "I love you,"
Instead of assuming you know I do.
So just in case tomorrow never comes,
And today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you,
And I hope we never will forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
Young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance,
You get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
Why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
You'll surely regret the day
That you didn't take that extra time,
For a smile, a hug or a kiss,
And you were too busy to grant someone
What turned out be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today,
And whisper in their ear,
Tell them you love them very much, and
You'll always hold them dear.
Take time to say, "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "Its OK"
And if tomorrow never comes,
You'll have no regrets about today.

L.O.V.E...Life On Venus Eternal!!!l

What more human bliss can be achieved? SEX...the ulitmate driving force of life....the continuous urge to unite! In flesh, mind, and spirit! Divine love is the fruit of the sweet smelling flower pollinated by the gentle kindnesses and kisses of the heart.
On the other hand, the darkness of LOVE can be experienced through the perception of lack of it. It is simply the pursuit for a thirst quenching mirage in the desert of a lonely life. Always within hopeful reach but once thought attainable, non-existent. Only to leave the desert nomad to turn within oneself to find the oasis of what the heart truly desires. Love of oneself. Love of All. Love of The Omnipresence that ironically is not illusive in any sense but consistently present. Separation in the mind of romantic and divine love, I believe is eternal human separation, Judas betraying Christ, the loss of Holy Grail, the human divorce, separation of east and west, division of religion and spirituality. But without that separation, union cannot be achieved. And with that union~~ enlightenment, consciousness....hence, LOVE!**

1. The essence of our being is love.
2. Health is inner peace: Healing is letting go of FEAR....
........(False Evidence Appearing Real)
3. Giving and receiving are the same.
4. We can let go of the past and of the future.
5 Now is the only time there is and each instant is for giving.
6. We can learn to love ourselves and other by forgiving, rather than judging.
7. We can become love finders rather than fault finders.
8. We can choose and direct ourselves to be peaceful inside regardless of what is happening outside.
9. We are students and teachers to each other.
10. We can focus on the whole of life rather than the fragments.
11. Since love is eternal, death need not be viewed as fearful.
12. We can always perceive others as either extending love or giving a call for help.

There are but two special gifts
we can give our children;
One is roots,
the other is wings.

I am my own angel
No flutter of wings,
but something within
directs my steps,
turns me away
from harm,
gives me dreams,
works while I sleep,
like the elves in a fairytale
who did the shoemakers work
overnight,
like the magical assistants
who dig up the gold
of consciousness
under the hearth,
or who warn of danger.

I am my own fairy godmother
who appears in moments of crisis,
who comforts my tears,
& finds the right clothes for me
to wear to the ball
or a poetry reading,

I am my own wizard
conjuring deeds from intentions,
poems from words,
flowers from seeds.

After a while you learn the subtle difference
Between holding a hand and chaining a soul,
And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning
And company doesn't mean security
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
And presents aren't promises,
And you begin to accept your defeats
With you head up and your eyes open
With the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child
And you learn to build all you roads
On today because tomorrow's ground
Is too uncertain for plans, and futures have
A way of falling down in midflight
After a while you learn that even sunshine
Burns if you get too much
So you plant you own garden and decorate
You own soul, instead of waiting
For someone to bring you flowers
And you learn that you really can endure...
That you really are strong
And you really have worth
And you learn and learn.....
With every goodbye you learn***
