My Testimonials

January 8, 2007
This man is a legend. I can only really use superlatives....he is the most talented, most positive, most enthusiastic, most fun, craziest dancer (you've gotta see it to believe it) & best cook you've ever met (beware of the chilli though. He seems to be oddly impervious to it while it's so fucking hot it makes your nipples go hard). You just can't be grumpy in the same room as this man. Oh yeah, he's pretty good at taking pictures too.

Words are like, so, y'know, totaly, deep

Picture this, if you will. A bucolic English scene; the sun setting over the 16th century church nestling in the valley folds of the peaceful Somerset village of Batcomb. A few clouds scud across the twlilight sky and up on the ridge someone fires up two 30ft propane jets for the first time from the side of a vintage fire truck.
I'm pretty sure that the villagers will be talking about Kat and Ed's wedding for sometime to come, not only because of the extremely high percentage of unconvention... read more

This is the best pic yet of Saturday's flame test. Thanx Axel (and his pix from Midsummer Night's Mayhem are here... lovely shots bro. www.xtradisque.de/axelvette...index.html )

So I'm listening to all the people that are telling me to beware with this propane stuff and thinking I need to go on a safety course. Anyone got any leads? Other than that getting mighty excited about the trip to Nowhere and gettting the stripper pole on the front and getting G... read more

Saturday arvo, Tyler, Axel, Andy and I got all the propane strapped in to Gladys, tightened all the joints up on the hosing, mounted the exhaust jets on the sides and did a flame test. I can't wait to see her fire off at night in an open field. Thanx to everyone who worked on her. Now we need a paint job doing? Who's up for masking and spraying some flames over her front?

I got to welcome the lucky people into MSNM from the roof of Gladys. The space was too small to use the big propane from jet's from the side of the truck but soon enough, come Nowhere.
And what a night.
No police, no council and only one complain neighbour.
No trouble just beautiful people and amazing vibes.
Thanx to EVERYONE who put something into making it happen.
Smoo (as usual) has got her pix up first www.flickr.com/photos/smo...0235674725/ so thanx to her for t... read more

Oh boy! Would ya look at the size of that puppy. First we got a nice lickle ring of fire from the pilot 'halo's' round the top of the cowling then we got the big jet lashed inside and pointing up through the centre of the halo.
We purged the system, purged again and then let her rip!
I reckon we're getting close to 30ft of flame out of that.
Next step is to get it all set up on Gladys and we are in business!
Hallelujah, PTFL and pass the propane
