I'm a nursing student who works hard, has a lot of energy to burn, and not enough time to burn it in, heh. I'm studying to be an herbalist. I enjoy being active and healthy, and having fun without the aid of inebriating substances (though I am particularly fond of mead). Hoopdance has become a way of life for me. I am fascinated by trees, the healing arts, and honey bees.

And so it begins...

Phoenix Rising was an absolute blast. I managed to get my bunny costume sewn in time, miraculously... and I arrived nice and early to get the lay of the land at Shampoo. The PEX crew did a beautiful job of transforming the place as best they could into a friendlier, softer atmosphere. The music was great throughout the night... I feel...

...like blogging.
But what do I blog about?
All I can think about is how insanely fun this summer is going to be... Phoenix Rising will kick it off next weekend... PDF... Gaian Mind Summer Festival... Drum and Splash... PEX Compression Party? Sometimes...

...I really surprise myself. It's not always a pleasant surprise, heh.
Like today, on the drive home from work, when the dreadlocked asshole in an SUV who'd been tailgating me for miles flipped me off and started screaming at me at a red light, in the midst of my yelling I heard the words "and wash your hair you fucking hippie!!!" coming out of my mouth. When I realized that I'd actually yelled this out my car window, I started laughing hysterically at how ridiculous it was for those words... read more

I'm only into this to enjoy.

Spring is my season. I feel like I am on the verge of bursting into bloom... like the hawthorne tree that is budding beautifully out in the garden (there's a reason why they call it the mayflower tree! Give it another three days of warm weather and I'll bet you by the end of the first week of May it will be gorgeous).
