Now I can also say "I am a grapefruit" (je suis un pampelmuse!)
I had this raspberry and pistachio creme shortbread in Paris the other day and it was awesome.

Neato Facto
Ever wonder why people say "Pardon my French" after they swear?
I found out the origin of this phrase is that it was considered inherently embarrassing to say anything in French (at least to a Brit). It IS high-pitched and sing-songy with plenty of spit-rattling. Can you blame them? It is so beautiful though. :) Hope you are having a great time, KT! |

When I tried to learn German after 6 years of French, I had a lot of confusing moments. The funniest part what that I spoke German with a French accent*. My teacher even noticed it.
*I'm sure I had an American accent, but my r's and my vowels were French. |
